    To lay down a procedure for cleaning of strapping machine.

    Scope

    This SOP is applicable for cleaning of Strapping machine.

    Responsibility

    Officers or above – Production.

    Accountability

    Production Head.

    Abbreviations

    SOP : Standard Operating Procedure.

    Procedure

    The cleaning of Strapping machine is to be done after day’s production is over or whenever required.

    Remove the unused strapping roll from the machine and store under lock and key in storage rack.

    Clean the machine surface, with the help of dry lint free cloth.

    Clean the outer surface of machine and side panels with lint free cloth.

    Clean the strapping channel with dry lint free cloth.

    Get the cleaning checked by production officers.
