It scored 85% for Child Occupant Protection, in the 4-Star range, as ISOFIX and top tether were available. ABS was standard but no ESC. The hatchback version provides comparable occupant protection to the tested sedan version. ASEAN NCAP introduced side impact testing for 4-Star ratings and above and presented Child Occupant Protection in star ratings from September 2013 onward.
