INTRODUCTION:

Try to Think/explain this: “Our worldview dictates our core values, and our core values conditions our
habits, our habits creates character and character may evolve into a destiny. However, the Spirit must
shape our worldview to correct our core values, in order to straighten up our old habits that will transform
our character to assure us of our eternal destiny.” (HBC)

I SIN-RIDDEN MANKIND

Originally, man is ____-_____ and was created in all purity and beauty until the fall.

1. The ________Sin Romans 5:12-14 cf Gen 3:4-7

Rom 5:12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin,
and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned-

Gen 3:4-7 "You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman. 5 "For God knows that
when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and
evil." When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the
eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to
her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and
they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for
themselves.

II POWERLESS MANKIND

is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”

VI LIVING IN THE NEWNESS OF LIFE

Rom 8:1-2 “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,
because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and
death.”

d. Addiction-Free Col 3:5-6

Col 3:5-6 “Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual
immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the
wrath of God is coming.”
