Has globalization gone too far, not far enough, or has it been heading in the wrong direction? globalization is exposing societal schisms between those who have the knowledge, skills, and mobility to thrive in an unrestricted global market. 2. To what extent is global poverty a harm inflicted by the global economy? The Difficulty of Globalization. Proponents of this new political economics approach suggest that growth patterns that result in more income disparity will result in lower future growth pathways. It will also have an impact on the ability to alleviate poverty. 3. Does economic globalization lift all boats, or is it a modern form of empire? No. because it is a modern empire of economic globalization that no longer raises all boats. 4. Is "globalization" another word for Americanization? No. Because Globalization is the integration of markets into the economy. Because Americans and the United States as a whole are dependent on other countries, globalization is not the same as Americanization. 5. Are globalization’s characteristic interactions and institutions exploitative, and, if so, does this generate moral duties? Yes. It is true that the institutional and interactive features of globalization are considered exploitative. 6. Do well-off peoples have to give up advantages and luxuries for the benefit of the global poor? No. Because when countries open up to trade, they develop faster and the standard of living rises. The common argument is that the benefits of this higher growth flow to the poor. 7. What practical challenges and constraints do states and individuals face in responding to their global moral duties? Globalization's moral challenge necessitates a fundamental shift in values, with an emphasis on human security, democracy, and economic fairness. Each of us must contribute to the creation of a more compassionate, humane, and peaceful society by thinking globally and acting cooperatively.
