    In this meeting we are going to talk about the language
    features(ciri-ciri kebahasaan) yang ada pada materi KD 3.1.
    Talking about Self.
    The language features :
    Word >>Pronoun, Noun, Verb(+ Be ) , Adverb,
    Adjective,Interjection.
    Fokus kita akan membahas Pronoun dan Verb 1( + Be)
    Examples:
    A. 1. I have a new sharpener.
    2. My sharpener is red.
    3. This sharpener is mine.
    4. I do the homework by myself.
    5. He follows me every day.
    B. Fill in the blanks with he, him, his, himself
    1. ...suitcase is expensive.
    2. The expensive suitcase is ....
    3. ...has an expensive suitcase
    4. He earns money for ....
    5. We love ... forever.
    Fill in the blanks with possessive adjective; my, our, your, her,
    his, its
    1. We study at MAN 3 Sleman. That is ... school.
    2. I have a magazine. This is ... magazine. It is about sport.
    3. The teachers drive cars.

    The Use of Verb 1= Penggunaan Kata Kerja Bentuk ke 1

    Rules:
    1. Jika Verb 1 bertemu Subject I, You, We, They, bentuk Verb 1 tetap.
    Example:
    I like English. You like English. We like English. They like English.
    But He likes English.
    2. Untuk He, She , It , Rules nya berikut ini:
    a. Jika he, she, it bertemu kata kerja berakhiran -o (exp. go )
    b. Jika he, she, it bertemu kata kerja berakhiran –ss( exp. kiss)
    c. Jika he ,she,it bertemu kata kerja berakhiran –sh( exp. wash)
    d. Jika he, she ,it bertemu kata kerja berakhirn –ch ( exp. watch)
    e. Jika he , she, it bertemu kata kerja berakhiran –x (exp. fix )
    maka akan menjadi >>>lihat slides berikut ini
    Menjadi berikut ini, examples:
    1. He goes to school
    2. The man teaches English
    3. Mrs. Yanti kisses her baby
    Rules no 3. Jika
    • Jika kata kerja berakhiran huruf y dan sebelum y berakhiran huruf
    mati atau konsonan maka y berubah menjadi –ies, jika kata kerja
    tersebut bertemu he , she, it .
    • Carry adalah contoh kata kerja berakhiran huruf , dan sebelum huruf
    y adalah huruf r . R termasuk huruf mati atau konsonan.
    • Contoh:
    The man carries the box.( asli : carry)
    The boy flies the kite.(asli : fly)
    Examples of Verbs with ending :
    1. Ending- o
    2. Ending-ss
    3. Ending –sh
    4. Ending –ch
    5. Ending –x
    6. Ending-y sebelum –y huruf mati
    The Use of Be 1=is, am, are and Verb 1
    Examples:
    1. (+ )His brother is 20 years old
    (? ) How old is his brother ?
    (? ) Is his brother 10 years old ?
    (- ) His brother is not 10 years old. He is 20 years old.
    2. (+ ) The students are dilligent
    (? ) How are the students
    (? )Are the students dilligent
    (- ) The students are not dilligent
