“Be the change you want to see in the community.”

- Mahatma Gandhi

The year 2020 has been exquisite and dynamic and has been instrumental in testing
the adaptability of the human race. The world saw the potential of an inconspicuous
virus in altering the lifestyles, livelihoods and even ideologies of people to an extent,
where wearing a mask and testing positive for the covid-19 has become a sense of
normalcy.
The S.G.C. Group achieved a lot in terms of teambuilding, environmental protection
and habitat conservation, despite the challenges posed by the recurrent lockdowns.
The group initiated some extraordinary initiatives which marked the beginning of the
era of autonomy.

VUCA and Adaptability: Young leaders serving a mass transformative purpose

The world today is highly VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) and
the current scenario is an example of the same. In such a world where obsolescence
is at its peak, celebrating failures and finding big opportunities in bigger problems is
the key to enrich one’s creativity and imagination. The initiatives taken up by the S.G.C
Group reflect this philosophy while, serving a mass transformative purpose of being
the agents of positive change to make a greater difference to this world.
The group also upholds and reflects – Tikkun Olam: A Jewish philosophy, which states
that it’s possible to repair the world through small acts of kindness, as it emphasises
on being sensitive, empathetic and respectful towards the environment and the local
habitat to pacify the reverberate and intrusive consequence of global warming and
climate change.

Conclusion and Way forward
We at The S.G.C. Group believe that adaptability, reinvention, respect and communal
empathy are the core values, which are inculcated, imbued and practised by all the
members involved. We are proud for our achievements and are aspirational about our
future objectives which are as follows:

We all are really hopeful that we’ll achieve the decided milestones in order to pave a
path for a green and serene environment for all the eco-stakeholders. With that I wish
everyone a happy, safe and green new year!

Warm Regards and a sense of Chutzpah
