    REPORT
    The Department of Education IN the School Health Division – Bureau of Learner Support Services (SHD – BLSS), implemented the School – Based Feeding
    (Dep Ed), through
    Program (SBFP) for School Year (SY) 2021 – 2022 to address under nutrition and short term hunger among public school children. The priority target beneficiaries of SBFP for this year was
    the old beneficiary from Kindergarten to SCHOOL
    Grade 6.
    This program aims to;
    1. Improve the nutritional status of the beneficiaries of at least 70% at the end of 120 feeding days.
    2. It aims to increase classroom attendance by 85% and improve the children’s health and nutritional values and behavior.
    3. Conduct group daily hand washing and tooth brushing activities.
    4. Provide health and nutrition information and awareness among target beneficiaries.
    5. Encourage Gulayan sa Paaralan and vegetable backyard gardening in the community to augment School Based Feeding Program (SBFP).
    In connection to these program, KIBALUS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL selected pupils who are beneficiaries for the last year 2020- 2021 and its priority was the kindergarten
    pupils. As the formal implementation, the teaching force of this school had a meeting regarding this program to inform fully the parents of who are the pupils that are beneficiaries of this
    program and created a core group who will take charge of the distribution to the parents. Health protocols and maintaining social distancing were imposed during distribution .
