INTRODUCTION
When children interact with animals, they build the all important senses of connection,
empathy and caring. They feel a sense of responsibility and are curious to find out more about the
animal.

OBJECTIVES

At the end of this lesson the pupils should be able to do the following:
a. tell that animals are grouped in different ways as pet, farm and wild animals;
b. describe the characteristics of the different group of animals;
c. classify animals according to its group correctly.

Directions: Cut and paste one picture of an animal that you know. Write the name of the animal.

Animals are grouped into different ways. There are pet animals, farm animals, and
wild animals.

PET ANIMALS
Pets are animals that you can take care of at home.
Most pets are loyal and playful to their owners.
Examples:

FARM ANIMALS
Farm animals are raised by farmers.
Examples:

WILD ANIMALS
Wild animals
pig live in the forest, mountains,
horse oceans, and seas.
Wild animals cannot be kept at home. These animalssheep
can harm people.cow
