    Reflection on E-Commerce:Key Business Trend in the New Normal and Beyond

    Even before pandemic E-commerce takes place in our day-to-day activities. Many people
    used internet platforms to sell and to buy goods even to pay bills. Because of the changes and
    modernization, the use of technology become part of our daily activities and technology perform
    very important role in our life. With the help of technology, our daily activities become easier to
    perform because in just one click you can buy goods, you can sell goods, even pay bills and even
    saving money is now available online. With the help of technology bigger opportunities is given
    to everyone especially to those who are selling goods, where in they are able to expand the
    distribution channel to offer their goods and services online without even building a store or a
    physical store and without even spending a lot of money and with out moving from one place to
    another. In the part of the buyer this setup is also favorable knowing that it can save time and it
    can lessen the money that we have to spend. Although there are problems that arise upon
    implementing this setup but with the help of some government institutions like DTI the sellers
    are guided about the guidelines that is needed to follow for the sake of the buyer. And this
    government institutions tend to study how the E-commerce work? What are the problems
    encounter upon implementing E-commerce? What are the strategies that can be formulated to aid
    the problems that they encounter? And with this the online sellers are able to expand and to
    improved their opportunities to develop their product and to sell their product all around our
    country and even outside the country. I think this kind of setup is a very good opportunity to
    lessen the unemployment rate of our country knowing that the capital to open a business online
    doesn’t a lot of money but sill it is important to conduct research and to be knowledgeable
    enough before opening business online or even offline. Upon attending this webinar, I was able
    to understand what is E-commerce and to know that ways to avoid scam on online platforms for
    buying a product by knowing if their business is registered to DTI and FDA for the food
    products to ensure that I can get a good quality product and the assurance to get the product or
    even a refund.
