You can see more detail in text view. – see below

Between the first correction map and the base swirl flap duty cycle map you usually find a row of numbers like this;

10000…..05000…..05000…..05000…..05000…..02000

10000 is a waiting time I think.

05000 valueS are maximum and minimum values for duty cycle. All fixed at 50%

02000 is duty cycle for closed EGR valve, I think.

This same row of numbers is found in EDC16 files that do not have swirl flaps fitted. I believe they are default
values for what VAG calls 2 – position flaps. (which seems to mean no flaps). This suggests that you should never
change these values to delete swirl flaps.
When an EDC16 file has the above simple map arrangement for swirl flaps, there is often a swirl flap switch
present. This switch is usually immediately after the second swirl flap correction map.

This area often looks like this;

00000 00004…..00004…..00800

The two 00004 values are a time, I think.

00800 seems to be an idle speed (800 rpm?)

00000 means the swirl flap maps will be active. (so changing to 00001) should deactivate the swirl flap maps. The
ecu will now expect the flaps to remain open at all times.

You can achieve the same result (Flaps off) by setting swirl correction maps to 00000 and base swirl map to
05000 (50%).

E.g.

Th value changes are easier to see in Text mode.

E.g.
With the maps set like this and the switch set to 00001 the swirl flaps should behave as if they are not present.

If the swirl flaps are removed completely you need to either, leave actuators and wiring in place or remove it all and
have the error codes deleted from the ECU file.
