Project: Race and the Criminalization of Addiction
• Created surveys with validated measures using Qualtrics and administered using
Lucid to over 8,000 participants
• Analyzed data using R statistical software

Honors Thesis: Differences in Electrodermal Activity and Emotional Reactivity in Binge
Versus Light Drinkers
• Cleans and analyzes electrodermal activity (EDA) data from emotional picture
memory task.
• Statistically analyzes EDA data in conjunction with behavioral ratings and
memory task data to determine group differences.

Project: Stroop Effect Highlights Deficits in Cognitive Control in Binge Drinkers


• Cleaned and statistically analyzed modified Stroop task behavioral data.

Additional Work
• Current literature analysis and article reviews.
• Participates in progress meetings with the principal investigator and graduate
students to track lab progress, give oral presentations, and for professional
development.
• Recruited subjects for the binge drinking and long-term Coronavirus symptom
studies.
• Became familiarized with MATLAB coding language.

Pembroke Hospital Behavioral Health Facility


Mental Health Associate 2019
• Assigned to a nursing unit for 8-16 hours per day, each unit differing in age and
acuity.
• Assisted nursing staff with patient treatment procedures, such as taking vital
signs twice daily, and ensured a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Trained on psychiatric group processes, age-specific care, trauma informed care,
therapeutic boundaries, crisis intervention techniques, and admission and
discharge processes.

RESEARCH SKILLS

Programming Languages: SPSS, R, MATLAB, Microsoft Excel

Neuropsychological Assessments: Experienced at scoring numerous assessments, such


as the Wechsler series intelligence scales, D-KEFs.
