Methodology
 Zinnov has analyzed the top 10 Tier -1 engineering universities and institutes in India to shortlist and identify
the top faculty for industry research

 The faculty ranking was arrived at by using a comprehensive research competency assessment framework
developed by Zinnov

 Further, major areas of research were identified by select departments and the top faculty by each research
area were also shortlisted

 The results are completely based on secondary research, with data collected publicly available information
sources. Hence the results are subject to the information available from the available sources
