IV. EVALUATION

Language is a way through which we communicate with others around us. For a effective
communication to take place it is extremely necessary for you to use proper language. You have to be
fluent and efficient in any language you use. If we don't use a proper language to communicate with
others, then for whatever purpose we are communicating won't be complete.

Inappropriate usage of language will alienate your audience. It doesn't matter what language you are
communicating in, if you want a fruitful conversation then you have to use proper language and for that
you should know the language and sentence formations as well.

When writing, it is very important to use language that fits your audience and matches purpose.
Because inappropriate language uses can damage your credibility, undermine your argument, or
alienate your audience. You do not want inappropriate word choice to get in the way of your message.

"Appropriateness is the extent to which an utterance is perceived as suitable for a particular purpose
and a particular audience in a particular social context." Every writing or oral situation requires you to
make a judgment regarding the level of formality you want to use.
