    The main characters of the novel: the Englishman Phileas Fogg, his servant -

    Passepartout.
    The story begins with the conclusion of a bet between Fogg and his clubmates.
    The essence of the bet is that the English man will be able to travel around the
    world, which will last no more than 80 days, using the current, at that time,
    transport. The road with the eccentric English man is shared by his reliable
    servant. The road lies to the east.
    Simultaneously (семултеніслі) with the beginning of the world, in England there
    is a daring robbery. Police Inspector Fix suspects Fogg of robbery and goes after
    the travelers in pursuit(песюд).
    Thus, in the way of Fogg and his servant, in addition to natural phenomena and
    various adventures, Mr. Fix causes a lot of trouble.
    The investigator is cunning and insidious. Considering our main characters to be
    villains, he tries to gain their trust and tries to make friends with Passe part out,
    who together with his master keep on the steamer to Bombay.
    The next point of travel, according to the plan of the heroes, should be Calcutta.
    But it is impossible to pass by rail because of faulty ways. Friends move on
    elephants. The journey is not without dangers and adventures. In the jungle, Fogg
    and Passepartout save the girl Audu from the inevitable terrible massacre. She
    must be burned with her dead husband. Passepartout finds a cunning way out of
    a dangerous situation, but everyone has to flee.
    Don't forget Fix, who follows in the footsteps of brave travelers and tries to put
    them in prison every time. But thanks to the wisdom and intelligence of Mr. Fogg,
    friends are able to move on, despite all the difficulties.Our company is still ahead
    of a visit to the fabulous Singapore, unknown China and amazing Japan.
    From Japan, our heroes are heading to San Francisco, from where you need to get
    to New York. Traveling in North America also takes place with a huge number of
    dangerous and curious adventures.
    On the way there are herds of bison that block the road, in one of the states the
    train is attacked by Indians, there is a destroyed bridge and Mormons. Finally, the
    heroes get to New York, but the steamer has already left for Europe. Again, Fogg's
    ingenuity comes to the rescue and the journey continues on a wheeled ship.
    There are also adventures and surprises, because of which Fogg and Passepartout
    had to visit Dublin and still get to Liverpool. But Fix is already here and puts Fogg
    in custody. Fortunately, justice has prevailed - the thief was recently detained in
    England.
    Friends come to London, but the delay is only one day, which means that the bet
    is lost. Fogg is almost bankrupt, but during the trip he and Audi fell in love. Having
    invited a church official for the wedding, the friends realize that the day was won
    by moving on the road to the sun - and this is a victory for the couple.
    Fogg and Auda married. Fogg wins the pair and finds love, and the win is shared
    between a faithful servant and a policeman.
