Hereunder specified are the job descriptions for the interim OJT students accepted within the Company:
As web developer and Tech Support, the interim OJT is expected to:
To develop, design, and build websites;
To be responsible for the appearance of the site and technical aspects; To be responsible with site speed and site traffic; Create site content and technical features; Website and software application designing, building, or maintaining. Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media. Conferring with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, or choose solutions. Directing or performing Website updates. Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types. Editing, writing, or designing Website content, and directing team members who produce content. Back up files from Web sites to local directories for recovery. Identifying problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel for correction. Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems. Determining user needs by analyzing technical requirements. To manage, maintain, and repair IT systems; To diagnose and repair faults, resolve network issues, and install and configure hardware and software; Identifying hardware and software solutions. Troubleshooting technical issues. Diagnosing and repairing faults. Resolving network issues. Installing and configuring hardware and software. Speaking to customers to quickly get to the root of their problem. Providing timely and accurate customer feedback. Talking customers through a series of actions to resolve a problem. Following up with clients to ensure the problem is resolved. Replacing or repairing the necessary parts. Supporting the roll-out of new applications. Providing support in the form of procedural documentation. Managing multiple cases at one time. Testing and evaluating new technologies. Conducting electrical safety checks on equipment. Any other orders as directed by the supervisor or head.
