MINUTES OF THE REGULAR SESSION OF THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF CAMAMBUGAN,
STA.BARBARA, ILOILO, HELD AT THE BARANGAY HALL ON March 21, 2021 AT 9:00 A.M.
Present: Irenea L. Cano Punong Barangay/Presiding Officer Efren S. Simpao Sangguniang Barangay Member Dionilyn A. Suner Sangguniang Barangay Member Fernando D. The meeting was called to order by the Presiding Officer at 9:00 o’clock in the morning. A minute of prayer was led by Kagawad Efren Simpao.
Since there was an attendance sheet being signed by the members as they come inside the session hall and the presence of a quorum was determined, the roll call was dispensed with.
The minutes of the previous session dated March 7, 2021 was read. There being no corrections offered, on motion of Barangay Kagawad Suacillo and duly seconded by Barangay Kagawad Ganat, the minutes of the previous session was adopted.
COMMITTEE REPORT:
1. Kagawad Suner reported that in her zone, the stockpile sand and gravel was not scattered, hence the vehicles could not access the road. On motion Kagawad Suacillio and duly seconded by Kagawad Ganat, that leveling of the sand and gravel will be done during the Barangay Road Clearing this afternoon.
2. Kagawad reported that somebody complained that used facemasks are scattered anywhere in the Barangay. The body agreed that the used facemask will be gather during the Barangay Road Clearing and Cleaning this afternoon.
BUSINESS FOR THE DAY:
1. Kagawad Simpao informed the body of the agenda discussed during the meeting at the International Airport, Cabatuan Clearing the Barangay Roadside (3m) Cattles that cross the By-Pass Road Cutting of cyclone wires to serve as shortcut Kagawad Simpao said that the Barangay Camambugan’s concerns are the cattle’s that cross the By-Pass Road which is dangerous for the vehicles. Punong Barangay requires the Zone 6, 4 and 3 to manage their cattle.
2. Continuous Barangay Road Clearing Operation as mandated by the DILG. Barangay
Road Clearing will be done once a month since the monthly cumulative monitoring on Barangay Road Clearing Operation Report, and will be submitted every end of the month the DILG Office.
3. SK Chairman informed that Bikers Association proposed to hold an activity/exhibition in
the barangay during Barangay Fiesta on May 15. The Sangguniang Barangay Members suggested that the Leader/President of the Bikers Association will attend the Barangay Session to confirm their activity plan.
4. The Sangguniang Barangay Members agreed to hold Barangay Assembly Day, on April 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM after the Sangguniang Barangay Session.

OTHER MATTERS:
1. Kagawad Sondia informed that the PNP visited our Barangay last March 12, 2021 for the purpose of conducting a feeding program for children. Schedule will be informed later, they advised that the Barangay will provide thermal scanner and log book for contact tracing.
2. Galvez Optical has donated 1 unit BP Apparatus to the Barangay. The said apparatus is under the custody of Melvin Paniagua.
3. There will be a Corona Virus Awareness Response Empowerment Program (CARE) on
March 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Barangay Talanghauan Covered Gym to be attended by the Barangay Officials with their Barangay Uniform.
4. Schedule of Registration 2 by PSA will be on March 23-25 2021 at the back COMELEC Office, Santa Barbara. Punong Barangay required the zone leaders to inform their members and to bring 2 valid ID or Barangay Certification plus the Birth Certificate and Code Stub or Bar Code.
5. SK Chairman informed that the UP students proposed to visit our Barangay for their advocacy “Tiempo Naton Movement Education Campaign“ for the youth. Schedule will be informed later.
There being no more topics to be discussed, on motion of Barangay De Leon, duly
seconded by Kagawad Sondia, the meeting was adjourned at 11:00 A.M.
