Reg. card (if this is loan, then you should get a copy and then match details against the relevant documents) Chassis number & Engine Number (match against road tax) Road tax expiry (it is 1 year instead of half year) Insurance cover note. Service maintenance booklet (issued by Nasim Peugeot) Service manual Spare keys and remote controls Check Odometer reading (less than 50Km?) Number plates Dealer Briefing/Instruction Explain location/operation/precautions of safety features,eg, seat belts,air bags,EBD ABS etc Explain operation/features of the air conditioning, eg,fan controls Demonstrate repositioning of rear seats Immobiliser operation: Lockout/restart/reset etc Explain the gauges,MDF functions Explain operation of CD/Radio Explain how the auto wiper function works Show the location of bonnet release/petrol tank release/rear hatch release Demonstrate repostioning of cargo tray Explain the 24 Hour road assist programme(write down contact numbers) Explain any front seat features(lumbur support etc) Show how the cabin/dash lights can be dimmed Explain warranties and limits Demonstrate how to check fluid levels under the bonnet Show car jack location and where to place under the chassis Is the tyre warranty different from the vehicle warranty? Is the battery warranty different from the vehicle warranty? Equipment Tinting: Did you ask for and is it present without any obvious faults? Seat adjuster (whether your power or manual assisted lever works) Driver Side Electric windows work? Child locks work on rear doors? Sunblind works? Air conditioning works? Lights and horn work?
