PERSONAL STATEMENT
An aspiring BCBA with 23% of required fieldwork hours already completed. Currently
completing my MSc in Applied Behaviour Analysis at Bangor University and on track to
achieve a Distinction. Recently graduated in BSc Psychology with First Class Honours.
Often commended as “smart and compassionate”, my goal is to complete the required field
work hours and sit the BCBA exam as soon as possible in order to pursue a career helping
people of all abilities to achieve their full potential and have a better quality of life.

Achieved first class grades for year 1, 2 and 3. Received letter of commendation for
academic achievement following every semester. Placed 4th out of 218 students for
the 2019/20 academic year.

A SEN school supporting 300 children, aged 3 to 19, with a range of disabilities.
Experience working within a team of BCBAs, therapists and teachers to help develop
and implement interventions for problem behaviour.
Experience with a range of intellectual disabilities, particularly autism.
Acquired almost 500 hours of clinical experience.
Learnt to communicate in behavioural language.
Skilled in DTT, token economies, positive and negative reinforcement and
punishment procedures, stimulus and response prompts and fading, modelling, DRA,
FCT, DRO, NCR.
