Information

Just like any other sports or games, dancing is also a physical activity that can promote lifelong
fitness and wellness. It is a good source of exercise that could help develop grade and poise. It can even
help in maintaining good health as it highlights health-related fitness components such as cardio-vascular
endurance, flexibility, and strength.

Basic Dance Steps in 2/4 Time Signature

Example (Modelling)

To execute the basic dance steps in folk dancing all you have to do if to follow the dance pattern.
But don’t forget to identify first the time signature used. So that you can do the counting correctly while
performing.

Now this time I will execute two dance steps in 2/4-time signature and one dance step in ¾ time
signature.
