"Channelizing Youth Power for Nation Building"

“Arise! Awake! and stop not until the goal is reached.” – Swami Vivekananda
“The greatest religion is to be true to your own nature. Have faith in yourselves.” ― Swami
Vivekananda

Avdhesh Sharma, president of Rashtriya Yuvak Parishad, Uttarakhand inculcated the minds of
young generation of the country on the auspicious occasion of National Youth Day,2021 in the
auditorium of R.L.E.K. in Dehradun. The ideology and perspective of nation building keeping
the youth of country in mind was propagated by Mr. Sharma in the National Youth Day which
was celebrated by Rashtriya Yuvak Parishad. He shared the philosophy of the great scholar
Swami Vivekanand by sharing the propounded principles and philosophy he holds for the youth
of the nation. The main notion behind the celebration is to propagate the philosophy and the
ideals of Swami Vivekananda for which he lived and worked. He further added, “No doubt he
was a great inspiration for all National Youth of India. Therefore, Swami Vivekananda is the man
of wisdom, faith, a true philosopher whose teachings not only motivated youth but also paved the
way for the development of our nation”. Mr Sharma stated that this day is a day of great
inspiration for every Indian youth; it is a day for taking new resolutions and forming an identity
of their own he shared many examples of how the youth of the country are in the path of building
a developed nation by quoting the youths like Prithvi Shaw, Zubin Damania, and the
environment activist Riddhima Pandey who is Uttarakhand-based and has secured a position in
the recently-released bbc list of “100 most influential and inspiring women across the globe who
are leading change and making a difference during these turbulent times”. He also emphasized
on the picture envisaged by Swami Vivekananda who entitled the youth of India as a strong
connect to a glorious past and a fruitful future. He quoted Vivekananda words that “all power is
within you, call upon that power. You must believe that you can do everything”. This notion in
oneself and molding the impossible into possible is still relevant to the youth of the country and
somewhere the youth is taking inspiration from it. Mr. Sharma further questioned the young
minds that “Who are aspiring the new trend of innovation, and start-up inhibition in our country
today?” The answer to which he gave was that the youth of our country is doing it.
I Vaidehi Negi, a lawyer accredited that Rekha Pundir, Member of Rashtriya Yuvak Parishad,
Uttarakhand motivated the youths to turn their thoughts towards the amalgamation of intellectual
with principles and values and create a nation which is achieving new heights. The main message
of being unstoppable and to glorify their achievements was the gist of the ceremony.
Arya, Mini, Adhya, Chitwan, Advocate Akansha, Prachi, Daljeet, Vineet, Chintu, Rishabh,
Ramesh, Anita, Uddeshya, Narendra, Tripti, Niharika are some of the youths who felt fortunate
to have this accord under the patronage of Rashtriya Yuvak Parishad.
