Message from the President
The AIAC has embarked on another
milestone year in 2012. Last year, the
celebrations of the AIAC’s 50th anniversary
highlighted the outstanding achievements
of the aerospace industry in Canada to
date. Today, Canadian aerospace has a
robust nationwide presence, creating jobs
and fuelling our economy. As we look to
the future, it is clear that the industry and
this association have a strong foundation
on which to move forward.
At the core of these priorities is our ongoing commitment to serving our members.
By advocating on our members’ behalf, promoting their interests, and seeking to
facilitate new business and networking opportunities, the AIAC has supported
and promoted its members for over 50 years. This commitment continues to
drive all that we do.
This Guide to Canada’s Aerospace Industry is one of the services we offer our
members. It is made available to industry insiders around the world at global
conferences and events, as well as online. The AIAC Guide serves as a key
means of providing contact information for our members and publicly high-
lighting their products, services and expertise.
We are immensely proud of our members, the work that they continue to do and
the achievements of the Canadian aerospace industry as a whole. This Guide
showcases the results of those achievements and highlights the strong founda-
tion on which our industry looks to the future and the opportunity that awaits it.

them in developing and successfully advancing the safety and security of Canadians.
Our industry is well placed to face these challenges and opportunities. We have
a broad national base, with operations in all regions and provinces. We also have
a strong association providing representation and advocacy at the federal level.
The AIAC is a vital part of the industry’s continued development. In its unique
role as a broad-based, policy-oriented representative of the industry, the AIAC is
playing a leadership role in the ongoing dialogue about the future of the industry.
For over 50 years, the AIAC has ably represented the members of the aerospace
industry in Canada, and for over 25 years, the AIAC’s Guide to Canada’s Aerospace
Industry has highlighted the services, innovation and technology produced by
aerospace companies across the country. The companies and services show-
cased here are the backbone of the industry as it exists today, displaying its
depth and national scope. They are the best Canada has to offer. As we consider
the future of the industry, there is no better place to start than with the companies
in these pages.

In the coming years, the global aerospace market is expected to experience considerable
growth. With emerging markets and the rising demand for more fuel-efficient aircraft,
there are significant opportunities in the commercial market for our Canadian industry.
