SOCIAL NETWORK
By Norely Ferrer

My research work is on a current topic such as social networks. I will explain what are social network?
When do people become addicted to these? What are the most popular social network? How social
network changes people life and his pros and cons.
Social network are sites and applications that allow the exchange of information between people or
companies. Social network is considered fast and useful way to make friends and communicate with
family. Family members who are far apart may remain connected through personal social network like
Facebook. They can share photos and updates about what is happening in their lives. When we talk about
social network the first thing that came to our mind is Facebook, twitter, WhatsApp and Instagram.
A person can be considered to be addicted to social networks when they lose control over the time they
dedicate to social network and have the need to be connected to their applications. When there is a loss of
interest in their classes or family. According to the percentages of use, the most popular social network is
facebook with 94% of people use it daily. The second place was whatsapp on 88% "according to
https://www.investopedia.com.”
Social networks changes people because they put many standards about beauty or material things. The
change is not only mental it is physical too because people want to be like others. People want to have a
life like people show on their social network. Social Networks have many pros and cons according to the
investigacion. Some pros are: Connect with other people around The world, easy communication,we can
see in real time. Some cons are: Helps to spread wrong information and people can pretends to be someone
else.
Social networks are a social
phenomenon, it is something that is
part of modern society. It represents for
many a flexible medium that allows
them to interact with people who share
the same interests. Social networks
have many advantages that are easy to
see for all of us who use them. Many
advantages turn into disadvantages for others and this is where problems begin to appear. Many of the
problems that occur is that the personal information that is sent can be passed from one person to another
without control.
Conclusion:
My conclusion is that we find people who use excessive and obsessive the social networks. Each user is
free to use the social networks as they want. It would be more appropriate to recognize how they benefit
and how they affect us. We have to find a balance that allows us not to be negativeSelf-control is very
important for a negative impact caused by ourselves to turn into a positive impact and cannot end up
affecting others.
