“Wh” questions

Noun (sustantivo)
• Types of nouns:

• Concrete: artis, table, child, station, food, storm … (algo que puedes
señalar)

• Abstract: art, responsibility, anger, efficiency… (algo que perceives o


sientes pero no lo puedes ver)

• Proper (name of people, places, events): Jane, London, August…


A Little bit of grammar
•Adjective
• Are words which give extra Information about nouns.

• Many adjectives are formed from other words (nouns):


• History -> historic; beauty -> beautiful; depend -> dependent

•Adverbs
• Adverbs are words which modify or give extra Information about verbs.
• Tomorrow, here, never, FAST.
• He is moving fast.
• To Born (nacer) -> Born to be alive!... I was born yesterday. (nací ayer)
Conjunctions
• We link sentences and clauses with conjunctions.
• Examples:
• And, but, or

Preposition
Prepositions may be similar to adverbs, they can be the same words,
nevertheless they work differently. This words change the meaning of
the noun.
Articles
• Articles precede nouns and some other words (e.g. few, Little and
adjectives) in a noun phrase:
