As the researcher, I must express my deepest gratitude to Mr. Christie my past

POB teacher for his invaluable encouragement and his assistance I received

I would also like to extend a warm thanks both my aunt and brother for their

 INTRODUCTION

This SBA endeavors to assist individuals whether business wise or personally

to understand the demand for construction supplies Theirs also more of

construction taking place and the researcher is interested to investigate if theirs is

enough material at mass joes hardware are materials have to source outside and

also if its affordable to customers.

This topic that was chosen is about an investigation into the availability of
hardware supplies and its cost effectiveness to customers in mass Joe’s hardware
Victoria Clarendon.
 Objectives

The purpose of this research is to:

1 to find out the availability of hardware supplies

2 and its cost effectiveness to customers

A questionnaire was created and was given on February 13 2022 to the manager
himself Mr Clair about the availability of his hardware supplies these 11 questions
from the questionnaire was raised.

The information above represents a comparison of the productivity of the

mass Joe’s hardware from the year 2007 to the current year. Base on the

data given it shows that from 2007-2013 would have been the best years

for mass Joe’s hardware because the productivity rate was at 100%. 2014-2019

were also productive years because the business had started out great

management which rates at 70%. The data also shows that 2022 productive

rate has declined by 50% due to the expense and shortage of hardware supplies

and mass Joe’s

The pie chart above shows the percentage of how much the how badly the

shortage and the availability affects the sales and source of mass joe’s

hardware which 45% represents the expense rate 20% represents the

availability of supplies to customer and 35% to the source of partners to get

hardware supplies
 Observation

Based on the statistical data retrieved it was evident that due to the shortages

of hardware at mass Joe’s hardware. their hardware equipment and material has

gotten more expensive to customers also the productivity of mass joes hardware

has fallen due to the fact that not much people is coming to buy supplies

because of the expense’ many people still buy some materials such as (sand

cement) ect because these are the main things customers Need to carry out

construction.
 Background/Overview

Mass Joe’s vision of a businessman and his sons who saw the need for a

service that was lacking in Victoria and its environment and seized the

opportunity to provide this service.

Mass Joe’s hardware is a business setting which was established in 2008 by

Mr.Joe Clair hardware is located in Victoria clarendon and also in spaulding

clarendon This business is also a family business and it started out with

only (5) four members on staff.

At the initial stage they only started out with labour and cashier then it

was found out that they now offer an array of services such as:

1. block factory

2. delivery

They offer so much more, which leaves their customers happy and feeling

satisfied with the service they have received.

As it regards to the limitation of this project during the interview that was

conducted there was no limit towards the questions that was asked. MR Clair

answered all the questions that was put in place, there were no limitations in

completing this SBA.

Based on the information that was gathered the researchers

recommendation to Mass Joe’s hardware is to try to maintain the availability and

affordability of hardware supplies so that it can be more convenient to customers

around the community and the excellent services that they always provide

The researcher also recommend that Mr.Clair should find various social

media platforms to advertise and promote his products as this will help to

increase the sale.

This investigation started out with the intention of finding out the availability

of hardware supplies and its affordability and it was very clear from the

information collected that these two factors was stalling the company. Since

recent activities and that concluded that the productivity has fallen drastically.
