    Technological Developments in the World of Education It is undeniable that this era of


    globalization makes science and technology develop rapidly. These developments also have an
    impact on the education sector which must be utilized as best as possible. Benefits of
    Technology in Education. It is undeniable, the existence of technology in the world of education,
    can directly provide various benefits. Both the benefits that can be felt by students, teachers and
    all educators. The benefits start from the existence of the internet as a medium for learning to
    seek new knowledge from various parts of the world to share the knowledge gained.
    Then the existence of social media, which now we can develop talents, interests and
    learning videos with the use of this technology, subject matter can be presented more
    attractively, and also easier to understand. Make students creative and think critically because
    they are motivated by the influence of this technology to find other learning resources. The
    results of educational technology can be seen, namely laptops or computers and online learning
    applications. In addition, the digital library is a library, where all the books provided are digital-
    based books that really help improve student literacy, students can access anywhere and anytime.
    More sophisticated research labs detect research results in more detail and do not take a long
    time. This makes it easier for students to find new innovations to develop their own world of
    education and solve a problem.
    Especially during the pandemic due to COVID-19, learning has been shifted to online
    but the implementation of educational technology in Indonesia is not that easy, there are several
    obstacles, especially in terms of infrastructure and the readiness of teachers or students.
    Educational technology companies must be able to overcome these problems, either by providing
    comprehensive training for teachers or developing tools that make it easier for them to teach
    online. Technology awareness is needed from now on for parents as guardians of students and
    everyone of course. Many of the benefits that we have actually experienced with the technology
    of our journey to date are also thanks to technology. We just have to take advantage of this
    facility for positive and useful things for many people.
    In connection with the increasingly rapid development of the era and of course requires
    an important role from the movers of education, Of course, the spread of knowledge will be
    greatly helped when using technology in learning to the fullest. Indeed, basically the
    development of technology is able to provide the most important role in the dissemination of
    information because in general public technology is important for the development of
    civilization.
