AN OUTLINE OF SYNOPSIS

The meaning or description of key terms limited to the present study.

3. Significance of the study

How do the findings of this study will benefit the business/firm and other
stakeholders? Write about it here.
4. Statement of problem

Why this study? What were the findings of similar such studies? What is an on-
going or a recurring problem that the investigator is trying to address or solve with
the present study? Why does the investigator feel that such kind of research is
relevant in the given context? Write about it here.
5. Scope of the study (Geographical, Functional, Topical and Analytical)

Geographic scope – discusses the context and the geography or area


Topical scope – discusses the main and other relevant subjects.
Functional scope – discusses attainment of objectives and hypotheses
Analytical scope - The analytical scope discusses the statistical tools and
techniques followed by the researcher in analysing the data.
Write about all the above over here.

6. Literature review and Theoretical background#

Write about the most relevant literature and theories. write at least five reviews

and write about different theories relevant to the present subject. For example: a

bargaining theory or theories on intermediaries
