III. IMPLEMENTED ACTIVITIES/INTERVENTION CONDUCTED

In this activity, the teachers of TLE Department implemented intervention activities through
Remedial classes and provided Strategic Intervention Materials (SIM) for their respective year levels. This
activity aims to address learning gaps on identified learners from the result of least mastered skills on the
LOA results.
It was previously identified that some learners of TLE subject failed to reach mastery on some
topics on a specific learning competencies in every learning areas. With this in mind, the TLE teachers
constructed intervention materials to address the learning gaps, where ICT was used through visual and
graphic presentation of the lessons, used contextualized materials, created Strategic Intervention Materials
suitable for learners lagging behind.
IV. RESULTS/FINDINGS
TLE Department implemented Strategic Intervention materials through Project AKAP. Home
Visitation and one-on-one tutoring was done to reach learners that cannot come to school soft copy of the
material was sent to them through private message and chat. We used the contextualized and improvised
materials that parallel to the Least Mastered Competencies. We were also able to invite some of the
learners to come to school for a limited face-to-face provided their parent’s consent.
The conducted Intervention/remedial classes was indeed successful. After the end of the third
quarter the formative and summative assessment where made where learners showed improvement with
regards of the mastery of the competency.
After the implementation of the project, the target learners showed evidence of performing better the
required skills as per competency. This is the positive result of an intervention which is intended to address
learning gaps of identified learners who got 75-79 average score in the previous quarter.
V. RECOMMENDATIONS
The TLE Department proposed to use intervention program to address the learning gaps, if there
will be any in the future, in TLE SUBJECT. Because this learning area requires skills development, the
proponents finds it necessary to come up to contextualized materials used In this intervention materials so
that the learners could get the mastery of the required competency.
