Important Instructions for Students -
1) Student with 2 dose vaccination who may have connectivity/ network issue have choice to appear for examination in offline mode.
2) Offline/ Online (Proctor) Exam. Mode choice link : https://forms.gle/ouEAyMg3FyxhMfYTA
Link will be open till 12.00 noon 16/12/2021) after which remaining student who have not uploaded through the link will be considered for online mode only
3) Proctored descriptive online/offline examination will be considered for End Semester Examination (ESE).

4) Students fulfilling the prerequisites (refer below Sr. No. 5) may appear Proctored descriptive online examination from outside of KIT's College of Engineering Campus.

5) Prerequisites to appear examination from outside of KIT's College of Engineering Campus –

a. Smartphone/Laptop/PC with camera
b. Webex App
c. App to scan answer sheets and create PDF file (Size-20 MB) to upload.
d. Uninterrupted Power Supply / Sufficient charging of devices
e. Sufficient internet bandwidth for video streaming (eg. Minimum 1Mbps)
f. Sufficient number of blank/ruled papers.
g. Log tables, smith charts, and steam tables etc as per the requirements of the course.

Note : Failing to full fill above prerequisites a to e will not be an excuse to complete his/her examination (no Re-Examination will be conducted). All subsequent attempts
will be through makeup examination only.

6) Student face and answer script must be visible during the attempt of examination, if not, students attempt will be not be considered. Video/Audio should be clear throughout
attempt of examination.
7) The nature of ESE is Proctored Online/Offline and descriptive (subjective) type based on 100% syllabus. ESE shall be based on the 30% weightage of MSE syllabus and 70% weightage of the
remaining syllabus.

8) The duration of ESE shall be 120 minutes for solving question paper of 50 marks. After this students shall scan the same sheets and prepare a PDF file (Size 20 MB). This PDF file will be
uploaded on MOODLE at provided link. The time allocated for this activity (scanning & uploading) of answer sheets of appeared course is not more than 30 minutes, excluding time alloted
for paper writing after which link will be disabled. In case of any difficulty assessing moodle server while uploading scanned .pdf. File, students should take the permission of Jr. Invigilator
and E-Mail the file only to onexam@kitcoek.in within stipulated time and will not accepted by any other means.
9) At the time of uploading use the file name as per following format : Course Code_PRN.pdf (eg.UBSH0101_2021000114.pdf). Mistakes to naming the file may lead to absenteeism for
that course.
10) Students should login to MOODLE platform at least 30 minute prior to start of examination for every course.

11) If there is any change in the conduct of the examination, it will be communicated well in advance through college website / Department Whatsapp Group / email. However, the college is not
responsible for any loss/inconvenience caused to the candidate.
12) Prepare and furnish following information on first page of answer sheet of each course-

13) The student must write the PRN, page number with signature on TOP-RIGHT corner of each page of answer sheet.

14) If a student is found exercising malpractices, his/ her examination will be cancelled. Maximum Three warnings will be given to students by Supervisor, after which the concerned student
have to face Examination Lapses Committee. The decision of Lapses Committee will be final.

15) The candidates are allowed to use non programmable calculators for numerical calculations.

16) If there are any problems from College side, then same concerned paper will be rescheduled and intimated through college website/ Department Whatsapp Group / email.

17) Students are informed to preserve the hard copies of answer sheets for submissions to their concerned departments after notifiation by the examination Cell.

18) Revaluation for the concerned examination will done after paying of appropriate fees.
