personalities we learn in different ways. Psychologists say that there are five main styles of learning: visual
learning style, auditory learning style, physical learning style, group learning style, individual learning style. I
prefer group learning style. When I am preparing for classes or doing homework I usually study with a few

3.My goals after finishing school. I believe that with hard work and determination one can achieve their goals.
I have come to this conclusion from my experience. Although that experience is limited as of now, I also have
associated with people who have come to the same conclusion. I will continue to believe this so that I have a
reason to continue working hard.Working hard is the best way to achieve the goals that you have for yourself. It
gives you a sense of satisfaction which motivates you to continue with your work. I have many goals for myself
that can only be achieved with hard work. My goal is to become a neurosurgeon. I have other goals that go
along with that one; however, that is the most important. I try to work as hard as I can in school because I know
that I must if I have a chance at succeeding .

Venice had everything - beautiful historic buildings, interesting museums and delicious Italian pizza! I’ll

amazing minarets sipping green tea and chatting to the local people.

3.Interesting facts from education systems of the USA / Great Britain. All state schools in Britain are free, and
schools provide their pupils with books and equipment for their studies. Nine million children attend 35.000
schools in Britain. Education is compulsory from 5 till 16 years. Parents can choose to send their children to a
nursery school or a preschool playgroup to prepare them for the start of compulsory education.
There are three types of schools in the USA; public, private and home schools.
Most children go to public schools. These schools are run by the government. That means that the government
provides public schools with everything that is necessary, pays for the school building, equipment, and pays
teacher's salaries. Parents pay taxes from their salaries to the government every month. These taxes are not
high. Public schools are usually large. Children who attend public and private schools begin their education at
the age of six years old and continue studying to twelve years old .

3.My dream job. My dream is to be a journalist. I think it is an interesting and useful profession. I like to

media. I have a hobby. My friends and I are publishing a small newspaper once a month in our
school. We write articles about school events, life of young people, jokes, draw pictures and caricatures. My
favourite school subjects are history and literature. I like the profession of a journalist. They meet many

people. They try to understand what is going on in the world, or the country, or the city and try to explain it to
other people. I think that the work of a journalist is very much like that of historian. A historian studies and

people’s doors calling ‘trick or treat! If you do not give them a small treat such as money or sweets they play a
trick on you.
No I have never experienced something like that.
2.Complete the degrees of comparison of irregular adjectives and make up three sentences of your own with
them:

3.Do you agree with the saying “We are what we eat”? Hi! My name is Maysa. I like to eat fruits and
vegetables. Apples and bananas are my favourite fruits. My favourite vegetables are tomatoes and cucumbers.
They are good for me. Fruits and vegetables are healthy. There is good saying: ”You are what you eat”. I think
it means that we should be aware of what we are eating and choose healthy food only. There are so many
products today with chemical additives . My parents try to buy only natural products. I can’t say I’m a picky
eater but there are some dishes which I like and those which I don’t. For example, my most favourite dish is
Pilaf. It’s a rice dish with carrot, onion, meat and oil. I can eat it three times a day and never get bored. It is not
difficult to cook. You need a kilo meat, several carrots, 1 onion, some oil .

3.My favorite writer. Kerim Gurbannepesov is my favourite writer. Kerim Gurbannepesov was talanted
Turkmen poet, national writer, and winner of the Magtymguly State Prize. Kerim Gurbannepesov's talent could
show that strength. He is a well known poet of Turkmen people. He could show our national prose to the world,
He wrote many works such as "Father Taymaz", "Father" and "Son", "Better Days", "Sweet Days", "The Heart
Found in the Desert", "The One of Six", etc.These works helped to develop Turkmen literature and to make it
more beautiful .

3.Changes in education system of Turkmenistan and the new educational facilities. Emphasizing the crucial
role of the education reform taking place in Turkmenistan as an essential factor in the progressive
development of the country and the enhancement of the intellectual potential of the nation – the Turkmen
leader focused on the need to take a very responsible approach to achieve priority objectives of
implementing all the plans for consistent modernization of the education sector. As is known, an important step
in this direction is the transition to 12-year school education in the 2013–2014 school year.
One of the important aspects of the national education reforms is the acquisition of modern technologies and
methods in the academic process of the schools and higher educational establishments of Turkmenistan. As our
President repeatedly pointed out schools and kindergartens are not accepted to be put in force if there are
no multimedia technologies, interactive teaching system and connection to the world information network of
internet. New textbooks are being developed. Material and technical supply of the education sphere is
renovated. New schools, equipped with multimedia teaching technologies have been already opened .

school though she has an unbreakable rule: never to study at night no matter how many written reviews are
coming in the morning.
She is also fond of reading plain books, and Bahar sometimes thinks that one book isn't enough to read, she has

before they burn the guy on the bonfire they normaly use it to make money. They show their guy to people
passing in the street and shout «penny for the guy!» They use the money they collect to buy fireworks
which they set off as the bonfire burns.

3. My weekends. When a school-boy I always envied those students who went to school five but not six days a
week, as we did. So you may guess, I had the only day off — Sunday. On Sunday, I didn't have to hurry
anywhere, that's why, I got up at nine or ten o'clock. I wasn't an early riser. I did my bed, washed myself and
went to the kitchen. In the kitchen the table had already been laid and I always had something tasty on Sunday:
fried potatoes, meat salad or my favourite apple pies. After breakfast, if the weather was sunny, I usually didn't
stay indoors, I went to see my friends. We often played volleyball or basket-ball in the yard and in winter if
there was much snow out-of-doors we went skating and skiing in the woods.
But sometimes the day happened to be rainy and gloomy. I preferred to be in watching TV, listening to music,
reading books, speaking over the phone or just lying on the sofa idling away the time.
Every Sunday, when I went to bed, I was thinking that the day had flashed past and the next week would
bring new problems and their solution .

3. Recipe of my favorite meal. My favorite meal is pudding. The recipe below for traditional Pudding.
Ingredients
300 grams of flour
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of milk
2 eggs
1/2 cup of water
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 1750 C.
2. Put the flour and the salt into a bowl and mix.
3. Make a hole in the centre of the mixture, pour in the milk and beat until soft and light.
4. Add the eggs and beat them into the mixture.
5. Add the water and beat until large bubbles rise to the surface.
6. Leave the mixture to stand for 1 hour in the fridge and then beat it again
7. Pour the mixture into an oven dish greased with some melted butter and bake for about 30 minutes.
8. Serve the pudding at once with roast beef, vegetables and gravy .

Yes I feel the same and I agree with author of the text. All holidays are wonderful because they are different
from everyday life. That is why, when holidays are over and we are back at school, we get a lot of pleasure
out of speaking about them. But after these exams we again have our summer holidays. I love summer
holidays very much.

3.My hobby. Why? Since when? My favourite hobby is reading. I enjoy reading a book when I am free. I
started to do it when I was four years old. The first time I did it, I felt interested. So I kept reading. The
teachers always taught me to read the difficult words. I was happy when I read a story with a happy ending.
I was amazed when I read a detective story. I enjoy reading because I like exploring the imaginative world
of my favourite author, J.K.Rowling who wrote " Harry Potter" . There are a lot of advantages of reading.
Reading can make me relaxed and calm. I can also learn new vocabulary items. Then I can improve my
English. I can learn the different cultures and customs of other countries in the world too. I read at least one
hour every day. I read books by myself. I usually read them at home. I wish I could read different kinds of
books because it might be very challenging .

3. Why should we protect the nature? Pollution is as complicated as serious problem. Automobiles are
polluting the air but they provide transportation for the people. Factories pollute the air and the water but
they provide jobs for people and produce necessary goods. Fertilizers and pesticides are important for
growing crops but they can ruin soil. Thus, people would have to stop using many useful things if they
wanted to end pollution immediately. Most people do not want that of course. But pollution can be reduced
gradually. Scientists and engineers can find the ways to reduce pollution from automobiles and factories.
Government can pass the laws that would make enterprises take measures for reducing of pollution.
Individuals and groups of people can work together to persuade enterprises to stop polluting activities .

3.The sights of London. London is the capital of Great Britain. It’s the largest city in Europe. It lies along
the Thames River. London is nearly 2,000 years old ago. There are many interesting places to visit in
London. Tourists like to visit Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey,
Tower Bridge and the British Museum. The Queen of England lives in Buckingham Palace. It has 600
rooms. From August to October you can visit Buckingham Palace. You can see there the State dining room,
ballroom, the Queen’s gallery with all her paintings. Westminster Abbey is a famous church in Great
Britain. The squares in London are beautiful. Trafalgar Square is one of them. 10 Downing Street is the
official residence of the Prime Minister. I want to visit London very much .

3.Why to learn English? I study English, because I want to read English books of great writers in origin. I
want to communicate with people from different countries, I want to understand their culture and traditions.
I like to travel. Speaking English I can travel anywhere, because more than 1 billion people speak English. I

3. Horses are the wings of the Turkmen. In ancient times, one of the treasures of Turkmen people was a horse.
They used the horse as a means of transport. During dangerous battles with the enemy, a Turkmen’s horse’s
help was great to defend our country. Turkmen people couldn’t imagine life without their horses. The
Akhalteke horses could easily cover, almost without food and water, large distances in the desert. They were
swift, steadfast, deeply attached to their master and beautiful. The Horse was always a close, real and faithful
friend of a man.
Modern Akhalteke horses inherited their ancestor’s best traits. They won the best prizes at the 17th Olympic
Games in Rome in 1960, at the 18th Olympic Games in Tokio and Mexico Games in 1968 were also a
success.Akhalteke horses are bred at the stud farm of the Turkmen Atlary state Association. The pride of the

them Merv.Merv prospered in the basin of the Murgap river during the epoch of the Bronze age.
There were more distinguished and educated people in Merv than in any other city of that time. First it was
called in Margav but the ancient Greek and Roman geographers called it Margiana and the medieval Arab and
Persian manuscripts described it as Maru or Merv.
