Forest Park prides itself on offering a touring and camping retreat which is endorsed by customers repeat visits and personal recommendations. In fact, this equates to well over fifty percent of the Parks business! Touring caravan, tent and motor home pitches can be found in several separate, but adjoining, areas around the Park. There are a total of 175 caravan pitches with electrical hook-up and 90 tent pitches, of which 30 have electrical hook-up. During the very high season we offer an additional 45 spacious tent pitches on our quieter overspill field. Of course, we offer the usual toilet and shower facilities benefiting a leading holiday park, including free hot showers and water, separate ladies washing units in some, launderette and sheltered and lit dishwashing areas. All touring pitches can be booked in advance, giving customers the security of knowing that their pitch is reserved for them. There are also over a hundred pitches available for seasonal tourers, situated in their own secluded areas away from the main touring area. Being a site amongst natural settings, woodland walks and maintained open spaces, Forest Park is an ideal location to bring your dog! Whatever the season, come and explore at your leisure.

Facilities and Entertainment

Forest Park has created a vast array of on-site facilities, all helping to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Attractions & Activities in North Norfolk

With hot summer days often stretching into autumn, the seaside town of Cromer is an ideal place from which to discover the beauty of North Norfolk.

Club House and Bar

The Foresters Club House is the perfect meeting place to spend an evening relaxing amongst friends. It provides a friendly environment and intimate lounge bar where live entertainment is often on the menu. With a selection of organised entertainment evenings, both for adults and children, theres something to suit everyones taste. The Club House even includes a childrens room, filled with activities and fun things to do, with a view over one of the Parks play areas.

Childrens Play Areas

From play areas to fun activities, children are well catered for at Forest Park. A purpose-built toddlers play pen area creates a safe environment for youngsters to have fun with their friends. And, with so many areas of open space, there are several great settings for ball games with no restrictions of noise or space. Other areas in the Park include climbing frames, swings and slides all of which have seating areas for parents to supervise and relax. Of course, the woodlands also provide a natural play area for children, with ample opportunity for running around and hide-and-seek.

Historical Attractions
The region is also steeped in history and has a selection of stately homes to visit: the Sandringham Estate being among them. You can even catch a steam train from Sheringham to Holt and back if you fancy experiencing some old North Norfolk charm!

Sports
For the sporting minded, North Norfolk offers a wide variety of activities. There is a flourishing tennis club in Cromer as well as superb golf links in both Cromer and Sheringham. Horse riding, sailing, swimming, walking, surfing, cycling, bowls and fishing are among the other sports to enjoy in the area.

Shop
The friendly site shop is centrally located and stocks everything from newspapers and milk to groceries and toiletries. We also go to great lengths to ensure that local produce is sourced whenever possible. So, whether youre looking for Norfolk jam and honey, or organic regional vegetables, were sure you will enjoy the quality of the local North Norfolk produce available.

Bird Watching
North Norfolks natural beauty makes it a haven for wildlife, particularly sea birds. With locations nearby Forest Park, such as the Cley and Salthouse Marshes, the area has long been a popular destination for bird-watchers.

Restaurant
The Club House also adjoins the Parks restaurant. From quick snacks to superb Sunday roasts theres a variety of menu choices available. Prices are extremely reasonable and a range of vegetarian options and childrens dishes are also on offer. Theres even the option to takeaway.

Arcade & Games Room

From enjoying a game of pool to testing your dexterity with the latest arcade games, theres never a dull moment in the fun-packed Games Room! Theres even a selection of new and interesting toys for youngsters, guaranteed to keep them entertained for hours.

The Norfolk Broads

Perhaps one of the most famous attractions is the Norfolk Broads, part of which lie within the North Norfolk area. With miles of waterways ideal for boating or fishing, theres plenty of exploring to do and exciting things to see and find.

Indoor Heated Swimming Pool

Adjoining the Club House is the indoor heated swimming pool, open from April until the end of October. From soaking leisurely in the water to splashing about, the pool is a great way to either unwind or have fun. Theres even a childrens play pool for younger swimmers. The sun-patio, next to the main pool, is another great way to relax and offers the perfect retreat for lounging, soaking up the sun or watching the antics in the pool. Shower facilities are also available.

Beaches
North Norfolks pristine beaches are at the heart of its attractiveness as a holiday destination, and are great, safe locations for endless fun in the sun. This year Cromer, Sheringham, Mundesley and Sea Palling all achieved Seaside Awards and Blue Flag status, all achieving this award with the highest possible grade.
