Lesson Plan 3 (Science 9)

This lesson plan outlines a science class for 9th grade students on causes of species extinction. The class will begin with an introductory activity to motivate students using video clips. Students will then analyze pictures and discuss extinction through a prepared presentation. They will learn about natural and human-caused extinction and how environmental changes can lead to population failure and species loss. In groups, students will collect information on how the environment affects extinct and endangered species. At the end, students will complete an assessment test and homework questions.
