A week in the life of ....
Two busy people take time to tell readers about their lives.
William Jones lives in Winchester. He works in a museum downtown. William usually

gets up at seven thirty and takes a shower. He makes some sandwiches for his lunch
and then he has breakfast (coffe and cereal) with his wife and their son. John, At eight
thirty Wiliam drives john to school, then he goes to the museum. When William arrives
he has another cup of coffee and plans his day. At five o´clock William closes the
museum and drives home. He usually has dinner and watches TV with his family in the
evening. But on Fridays he plays baseball with his friends. William works from Monday
to Saturday, but he always spends Sundays with his family. They get up late, have
breakfast, and read the Sunday newspapers, In the evening, they usually go to William´s
parents´ house for dinner.
Christina Sanders is a police officer in Berlin, a small town in the mountains of New
Hampshire. She gets up at six o´clock every morning. Takes a shower, and takes her
two dogs for a long walk. After her breakfast of fruit and cereal. Christina puts on her
uniform and goes to work. Cristina works hard. Her job isn´t easy and she is sometimes
stressed. She thinks that it is important to do exercise and have a healthy diet. She
usually has fish or pasta for dinner. She hardly ever eats meat and she doesn´t drink
alcohol. Christina has a very good social life. Her friends often visit her in the evening
and she cooks dinner for them. She doesn´t have a TV, but once or twice a month she
goes to the movies. Christina also loves sports. She usually works on the weekend, but
on her days off she always plays basketball and tennis.

Una semana en la vida de....
Dos personas ocupadas se toman el tiempo para contarles a los lectores sobre sus vidas.
William Jones vive en Winchester. Trabaja en un museo del centro. William suele
levantarse a las siete y media y se ducha. Hace unos sándwiches para su almuerzo y
luego desayuna (café y cereal) con su esposa y su hijo. John, a las ocho y media Wiliam
lleva a John a la escuela, luego va al museo. Cuando llega William, toma otra taza de
café y planea su día. A las cinco William cierra el museo y regresa a casa. Por lo
general, cena y mira televisión con su familia por la noche. Pero los viernes juega

My favorite day
My favorite day of the week is Saturday because it´s the first day of the weeend!
I get up very early during the week, so on Saturday it´s nice to get up late, and I always
stay in bed until about 10:30. Then I usually go shopping with a Friends. In Mexico
stores are sometimes closed on Sundays, so Saturday is the best day for shopping. We
don´t always buy anything, but we have fun just looking.
I often have lunch with my mother and my brother. It´s great because my mom is a
really good cook and she always makes things we like, and my brother and I have time
to talk about our week. After lunch, I sometimes study from about 4:00 to 6:00,
especially if I have exams.
In the evenning, I usually go out with my friends. We often go to the movies, and then
we have a pizza or tacos. I never go to bed before 1:00 or sometimes later
Mi día favorito
¡Mi día favorito de la semana es el sábado porque es el primer día del fin de semana!
Me levanto muy temprano durante la semana, así que el sábado es agradable levantarme
tarde, y siempre me quedo en la cama hasta las 10:30. Luego suelo ir de compras con
unos amigos. En México las tiendas a veces cierran los domingos, por lo que el sábado
es el mejor día para ir de compras. No siempre compramos nada, pero nos divertimos
mirando.
A menudo almuerzo con mi madre y mi hermano. Es genial porque mi mamá es muy
buena cocinera y siempre hace cosas que nos gustan, y mi hermano y yo tenemos
tiempo para hablar sobre nuestra semana. Después del almuerzo, a veces estudio de 4:00
a 6:00, especialmente si tengo exámenes.
Por la noche, suelo salir con mis amigos. A menudo vamos al cine y luego comemos
pizza o tacos. Nunca me acuesto antes de la 1:00 o a veces más tarde.
Mi día favorito
Mi dia favorito de la semana es Domingo el segundo dia de la semana.
Durante la semana trabajo desde las 8:00 pm hasta las 5:00 pm y el sábado desde las
8:30 am hasta la 1:00 pm, por la tarde estudio ingles y el domingo es libre, me levanto
temprano salgo a correr y hago un poco de ejercicio, entonces retorno me ducho y
ingreso al curso de Ingles hasta las 2:00 pm y salgo hacer las compras de la semana para
la comida de la semana, debido a que me encuentro en Mollendo y tenemos asignado
una cocina. Por lo que el fin de semana preparo la comida.
Casi siempre salimos con mis amigos hacer deporte por las tardes por lo general con
compañeros de trabajo, a menudo siempre conversamos del trabajo y planificamos antes
de empezar la semana, entonces retorno a la habitación donde me quedo.
Por la noche, ya en la cocina de la habitación donde me quedo conversamos con la
encargada del local hasta altas horas de la noche, antes de dormir durante la
conversación jugamos a menudo naipes casi siempre nos retiramos a nustra habitación
antes de las 11:00 pm
My favorite day
My favorite day of the week is Sunday the second day of the week.
During the week I work from 8:00 pm to 5:00 pm and on Saturday from 8:30 am to 1:00
pm, in the afternoon I study English and Sunday is free, I get up early I go running and I
do a little exercise, then I come back, take a shower and go to the English course until
2:00 pm and go out to do the weekly shopping for the week's food, since I am in
Mollendo and we have a kitchen assigned. So on the weekend I prepare food.
We almost always go out with my friends to play sports in the afternoons, usually with
co-workers, often we always talk about work and plan before starting the week, then I
return to the room where I stay.
