Prattville Baptist Hospital – Subject Matter Expert for building electronic medical record
documentation system, 2008-2011
Appointed by hospital administration to serve on a build, design, and implementation team for
Cerner Electronic Documentation System for a 3-hospital system. Duties included making design
decisions, ensuring documentation was appropriate for meaningful use, training more than 500
physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff on the final product functionality before adoption, and
continuing support after implementation.
Prattville Baptist Hospital – Autauga County Domestic Violence Task Force, 2006-2007
Appointed by hospital CEO to be facility representative on a community task force to reduce/end
domestic violence and support victims of domestic violence. Duties included coordination of
community efforts with hospital resources.
