The project is going to be done in groups made of 4-5.
Candidates are expected to put themselves in the examiner shoes and make an exam paper based on an AUTHENTIC text taken online from the Telegraph or the Guardian as they are frequently used by the principal examiner. They have to extract an interesting article related to the latest news which can be about politics, arts, sports …etc. The text will be used to make: ü Reading Comprehension Task (9 questions, 9 marks) Similar to the style of Exercise 1 ü Writing Task (16 marks) Similar to Exercise 5 or 6 styles, so it can be a formal task or an informal one.
Candidates will make TWO PDF files;
§ Exam Paper (which has the authentic text along with the two tasks following Paper2 layout and font) Thursday, 20th of January 2021. § Mark Scheme (which has a model answer for all the tasks made in the exam paper) Thursday, 20th of January 2021.
The TWO PDF files will be submitted on Schoology in the
assignment task and the cover page must include the names of all group members along with their S-number(s).
