ROUND II.

A reference may be made to the NCOC Decision Points recorded during its 11th
October 2022 Session held in Islamabad (copy enclosed) for your perusal. Following its direction 02
contained therein last paragraph of Minutes of Meeting, the Round-II activities on Covid
Paediatric Vaccination Campaign are hereby re-scheduled. Revised dates will be 31st October to
05th November 2022. Copy of updated work plan (containing timeline as well) is attached herewith
for strict adherence.

1. Epi Curve snapshot was presented with following highlights;
-During last 24 hours the positivity percentage remained 0.47% with 00 death reported.

- Keeping in view the positivity trend, all federating units are advised to increase the testing

possible detection of variants of concern.
2. Update on vaccination was presented. The following was discussed:
- Approx. 123,038 COVID 19 vaccine doses were administered on Saturday. FDI
- Approx.3,221 Pediatric COVID 19 vaccine doses were administered to the children age 5-11 years All Federating
during last 24 hours. Units
- After Pediatric COVID-19 Vaccination campaign first round phase 1, round 2 will be
commencing from 31 October to November 5 2022 in selected districts of Punjab, Sindh and
Islamabad. Second dose of the vaccine will be administered in due course of time.

Covid pandemic is still on

New variants are emerging with rapid pace

Vaccination coupled with SOPs is the only measure of prevention


Sindh has achieved 102% of adult population (≥ 12yrs) as fully
immunized against Covid

Aggressive workplan on juvenile immunization (05-11yrs) is current


venue to keep moving on

Following FDI guidelines 70% of 05-11 yrs children to be inoculated in


high-prevalent Karachi Division & Hyderabad District by Nov 22
FDI has kindly pledged to extend maximum support on field plan
execution

parent(s) along details of vaccine consumed & other logistics used on android phone Excel sheet

• Information collected from field teams will be compiled on cumulative Excel sheets and submitted to district
control room/focal person by 6.00 PM each day

• The information collected from all UCMOs will be compiled on district cumulative sheets with help of Data Entry
Operators and submitted to provincial control room by 8.00 PM each day
District Control • NIMS & COVIM will be updated at district level with the support of Provincial Control Room by 9.00 PM each day
