Study Materials
FEDAI has been publishing study materials for imparting knowledge to the officials of its members in the area
of Foreign Exchange. These study materials are published in the form of Physical books, eBooks and eLearning
Modules (Namely Liberalised remittance Scheme, Basics of Derivatives and FEDAI Question Data Bank). These
publications are strictly for private circulation and limited for use by the employees of FEDAI members only.
1. Books:
The below listed books are available in physical copies as well as in e-Book Version. Employees of FEDAI
members may purchase the set of books as per their choice.

1.1: Purchase of Physical Books
FEDAI members and its employees can purchase physical books from FEDAI office against payment of
Rs1500/- per set (Available only as a Full Set. Individual Books will not be provided separately) in
following manner:

 Against Cash payment only if subscriber or his/her representative visits FEDAI office in person
along with Employee ID Card preceded by advance email intimation from the subscriber’s official
email address allotted for use by his/her employer and not from personal email like Yahoo, Gmail,
Hotmail etc. – OR -
 Against payment through NEFT/UPI/IMPS/QR code and subsequently sending an email at
learning@fedai.org.in by providing the details as per table no 1.
Note: There is no separate charge towards courier, forwarding, handling etc

1.2: Subscription of e-books:

FEDAI members and its employees can subscribe following categories of e-books.
Category A
Onetime payment of Rs. 5000/-* + GST as applicable (At present 5%) Only for FEDAI Members
(Institutions) per user ID [One user ID is restricted to given Fixed IP Address]
This subscription will be valid for three years including updates (if any).
Category B
Onetime payment of Rs.1200/-*+ GST as applicable (At present 5%).
This subscription will be valid for 1 year including updates (if any). This can also be renewed against
payment of Rs.400/-* per year (before expiry of existing subscription).

Category C
Onetime payment of Rs.1000/-* + GST as applicable (At present 5%)
This is static version without any updates; content provided at the time of subscription shall be available
online for six months.
*Subject to change from time to time.
Note: Subscribers of eBook Category B or C may download FEDAI eLearning app from Google app store in
handheld device/s and access through online and offline mode (when not connected to Internet).
1.2.1: Procedure for subscription of eBooks:
FEDAI members and its employees can choose the category of subscription and remit the requisite
payment through NEFT/UPI/IMPS/QR Code to the account details provided in this brochure. After
making the payment, the subscriber has to convey details as listed below table no 1, to FEDAI over email
at learning@fedai.org.in.
This email must be sent from the personal official email ID given to the subscriber by his/her employer.
In case where the subscriber has not been provided with email ID in his/her name, such employee should
send email from the generic email Address of the branch/department in which he/she is working and in
such circumstances the subscriber could provide his/her personal email Address created in any of the
public domain like Yahoo or Gmail or Hotmail etc to receive login details:

Presently FEDAI has made available following two e-learning modules free of cost.

FEDAI members and its employees can visit LEARNING MODULE tab available in the home page of FEDAIs
website - www.fedai.org.in and register themselves for subscription of these modules.
2.1: FEDAI Question Data Bank:
All the Daily Quiz Questions, published in the FEDAI website since 2018, are available in form of FEDAI
Questions Data Bank course against payment of Rs 500.00 + GST (As applicable).
FEDAI members and its employees can visit LEARNING MODULE tab available in the home page of FEDAIs
website - www.fedai.org.in and register themselves for subscription of these modules against payment
of requisite fees.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q.1 Can I make copy or take print of these eBooks?

A.1 No, subscriber can neither create copy nor take print of the eBook or any part thereof.

Q.2 How can the subscriber access, read the eBooks. What are other main advantages to the reader in
eBook over the physical copy of the books?
A.2 The subscriber can access and read the book only after secured login on any device from anywhere,
when connected through internet. The subscriber can download the offline version through FEDAI e
Learning App (Available on Google Play store in both Android and iOS) only in one handheld device
which could be accessed offline.
The advantage / convenience are having access to eBooks from anywhere, anytime even when the
subscriber is travelling or is offline. The eBook version allows searching any text, bookmarking the
page of choice; highlighting the content in color of reader’s choice and even recording personal note
at relevant paragraph. Any of these three actions is reversible and can be modified as and when
reader wants so. The eBook also records and shows progress in the reading to the reader. These
facilities/tools are available in the reading pane and reflected by respective icons.
Q.3 How the subscriber can update the eBook? What if the subscriber misses any of eBook Update
notification, will they get latest updated version as and when he/she respond to any of next
update notification
A.3 If the subscriber is entitled for updated version of the FEDAI eBook, he/she would regularly receive
notification through FEDAI eBook App and once the subscriber allow the system to update, the
eBooks will get updated automatically. Even if the subscriber miss to notice or respond to any
notification for update, as and when she/he allows the system to update, system shall take care of all
previous update.
Q.4 Will the physical copy continue to be available if someone wants to purchase physical copies?
A.4 Yes, the physical copies of FEDAI Book-set would continue to be available. A subscriber may purchase
both physical copy as well as eBook on payment of due amount.
Q.5 Can the subscriber transfer subscription in name of other person or other branch/department of
FEDAI Member
A.5 No.
Q.6 Can the subscriber share the password with any other person?
A.6 The USER ID and USER PASSWORD are provided for exclusive access to the subscriber only and
sharing is not permitted. Any unauthorised access to eBook by person other than subscriber shall be
treated as noncompliance on part of the subscriber and the FEDAI at its discretion may;
i. Suspend or terminate the subscription without refund of subscription fee.
ii. Report the non-compliance of the subscriber to his/her employer.
iii. Take any other action as deemed fit by the FEDAI Managing Committee.
Q.7 What the subscriber should do on change of the employment?
A.7 The subscription of the FEDAI eBook is available only to employees of the FEDAI members. Whenever
there is change in employment from one FEDAI Member to another FEDAI Member, he/she should
inform the change to FEDAI. In case of change in employment to non FEDAI member or if the
subscriber is retired from service, the subscriber shall continue to possess the offline eBook version
but shall not be entitled to receive further updates.
Q.8 Whether the employee, who is not in regular service but is in employment with member of FEDAI
on contract basis or as a consultant or any such other similar engagement, permitted access to the
FEDAI eBooks? Is the professional supporting or servicing bank from outside such as auditor or
Information System Support Engineer entitled to subscribe the FEDAI eBook?
A.8 The person who is engaged and serving member of the FEDAI in former categories are allowed to
subscribe FEDAI eBooks. The external stakeholders in latter categories are not allowed to subscribe
the FEDAI eBooks.
Q.9 What the subscriber should do if he/she forgets USER ID or USER PASSWORD?
A.9 The subscriber can reset their password by clicking the option available on the homepage
https://flipick.com/FEDAI/ and will receive their credential on registered email.
Q.10 Whom should the subscriber approach in case if he/she experiences any technical difficulty or
other constraint?
A.10 At the time of providing the USER ID and USER Activation Link, subscribers shall be provided an email
ID as well as contact number of support desk in the user’s manual. The subscriber is in any case free
to write to FEDAI about any of his/her difficulty/-ies over the email Address learning@fedai.org.in.
Q.11 What if the subscriber finds the content incorrect?
A.11 In case if the subscriber finds any information incorrect (excluding the content which are due for
update on change of regulatory guidelines, introduced recently) he/she should write to FEDAI with
supporting document or reference relying upon which he/she concluded about the correctness of
content. Submission of such supporting document shall help FEDAI take speedy corrective action, if
any.
