CLASS TASK # 2 GUIDELINES and Class work

General Information
Name: Open Campus: Future Work & Study Opportunities

Objective: You will be able to present and analyze your Future Career & Study
opportunities by using future forms, predictions, and related vocabulary (work and study).
Product: Presentation / Talk. 5 – 7 minutes.
Language Target: Predictions (might, may, will); Future Forms (will, going to, present
continuous), work and study vocabulary.
Tools: Ticket-in Week 8 (4 questions: 1 question for each student in the preparation
phase), book (vocabulary, grammar).
Materials: Not necessary

Instructions and Stages


Week 8 Session 1: Group organization with classmates that are studying your major (or a
similar one). Decide how to divide information search.
Week 8 Session 2: In class, students create key phrases (exit ticket) to be used in the
presentation, applying grammar. After class, students start preparing the Ticket-in (CPS
Week 8) with deep, detailed, and relevant information of the question in charge. SS
upload the Ticket to the space in Week 8 (below the CPS) Note: the information and
grammar application of your Ticket-in will be used by all the group members.
Week 9, session 2: Class Task Preparation. Ticket-in check: Students share and teach
aspects about the question in charge (one per student), including deep, detailed, and
relevant information, while applying grammar and vocabulary studied (predictions /
future forms). Important: be clear; all group members should take notes to have the
information and more key phrases. SS practice the presentation at home.
Week 10, session 1: Class Task # 1 Presentations (live).
Week 12, session 1: Students peer-evaluate classmates and receive feedback from the
teacher.

Recommendations:
• Use the CPS as the guide to prepare your Class Task 2. (CPS Week 8); complete all the
exercises proposed and be ready! You need to focus on grammar contents, new
vocabulary.
• Keep in touch with your team and work in advance to be ready in the first session of
Week 9. Do not miss the ticket in.

student is 2 to 5 million pesos, because according to statistics it is

be seen in the agribusiness part, in addition to that it can also
enter to the part of raw materials.

also entering the administration of agro-industrial projects

8. What extra education and/or training may you need, and


where can you study those?
Information: You can pursue several emphases at the “Universidad
de la Sabana” and you can pursue postgraduate and doctoral
degrees in food, non-food and process design. You can do a
master's degree in "Process Design and Management" at
Unisabana, lasting four semesters of sixteen weeks each (two
years) in person.
