Sources of recruitment
Deloitte uses both internal and external sources to recruit employees to fill the vacant positions.
Internal sources: Deloitte conduct employee review from time to time within a period of 2 years so that
certain positions can be filled through the already working staff of Deloitte.
1. Transfers: Deloitte has 14 branches all across India in cities/ places such as Gurugram, Hyderabad,
Mumbai and Bengaluru. Gurugram and some other places also have USI branches of Deloitte which
are operated by Indians as well as Americans. Thus, Deloitte transfers employees across different
branches as well as different fields, for example, from financial analysts to marketing analyst.
2. Promotions: After conducting employee reviews and feedback sessions with employees, the
employers decide on whether the employee is fit for increased responsibilities and higher roles or not.
In case of a business analyst in Deloitte, the position starts from a junior analyst and after two years
they become senior analyst in their field. External sources: Depending entirely on internal sources is
not fully reliable as any company looks forward to receive new inputs with a diverse workforce. With
this concept in view, Deloitte hires employees from external sources.

resume for which they call the referral numbers or contacts with which the applicants worked
previously.
