NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE DISTRIBUTION

OF SELF-LEARNING MODULES

To guide teachers, parents and learners in the conduct of basic

education as the country shifts into the new normal, the school based their
preparation on the varying local situations.
Since we have no face-to-face classes yet, DepEd need to continue to
provide learning opportunities to our students without requiring them to come
to school.
Modular distance learning is the most preferred learning delivery of
parents based on the Modified Enrolment Survey Form thus, Tagdo Elementary
School adopted/chosen this approach. Last, September 13, 2021 (Monday) our
school conducted the distribution of modules for the students who are enrolled
in the SY 2021-2022. Before the distribution of modules the teachers prepared
the learning kits such as printed learning modules, worksheets/activity sheets,
supplemental reading materials, weekly home learning plan and etc. that will
be using by the students in studying their lessons.
Teachers prepared also the classroom arrangement following and
observing health protocols. Chairs were arranged in a two-meter distance, foot
bath was set up, put up a designated waiting area, classroom location for
entrance and was indicated and its sanitation area. Signage on covid-19 health
protocols and standards were also being posted like no face mask no entry,
maintain two-meter distancing, sanitize before entering and indicated arrows
and signage for entrance and exit.
On the day of the distribution, parents observed health protocols:
wearing of face mask, washing hands with soap and water and sanitizing with
alcohol. Then, after, they proceeded to the thermal scanner in-charge for
temperature check, signed in the contract tracing log book and maintain two-
meter physical distancing inside the school premises. Directly went to the
designated area, take turned in the distribution of modules. Parent looked for
the name of his/her child posted on the chairs then checked the complete set
of modules. He/she then affixed his/her signature in the distribution and
tracking sheet. Then, followed the indicated arrow for exit.
The distribution of modules was successfully done with the collaborative
effort of Tagdo Elementary School community, parents and stakeholders.
