JOB DESCRIPTION 1- MARKETING MANAGER: -


SUMMARY OF THE JOB
ABC Company requires a marketing professional who can create and manage communication
campaigns that is an amalgamation of sales promotion, digital marketing, social marketing
etc. to deliver the message well across. The selected individual will act as a primary interface
between the company’s brand, sales media agencies, marketing strategies and Vendors.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -


1. Selected candidates are expected to produce annual marketing and communication
plan with the required budget.
2. The individual should be able to co-ordinate well with sales team, set monthly goals
and monitor & measure the gained achievements.
3. The candidate should be able to prepare and create short- and long-term strategy
development for the given divisions of product portfolio
4. The individual should be able to lead the strategy and content plan.
5. The candidate should be able to create relationship with partners in areas like
marketing events, lead generation etc.
6. The selected candidates are required to participate in monthly performance
assessments throughout their job tenure.
7. Candidates should be able to drive sales by providing appropriate training and
guidance to the sales personnel.
8. All individuals are expected to follow the company’s code of conduct and act in
accordance to the rules and policies of the company.

QUALIFICATIONS: -
1. 3-5 years of work experience in related field.
2. Post Graduate in Marketing from a reputed institute.
3. Willing to travel across the nation for business purpose.
4. Well equipped with Microsoft office skills.
5. Prior experience in managing teams and revenue targets.
6. Candidates should possess good communication and negotiation skills.
KRA (Key Result Area)
The Key Result Area refers to the Broad level of responsibilities for which an employee is
accountable. It divides the overall job of the employee into a set of objectives and mentions
the goals for each of them. KRA are short term objectives which can be renewed depending
upon the situation and necessity. They key result area tries to identify the most current and
important objectives with respect to the performance management system of the firm or
organisation. Therefore, it is very crucial to focus on every KRAs.
Following are some KRA for a Marketing Manager: -
1. Sales of the firm
2. Customer Loyalty
3. Customer Outreach
4. Attraction Marketing
5. Customer Attrition rate

KPI (Key Performance Indicators)


Key Performance Indicator refers to a measurable matrics that is being used to measure an
organisation’s performance and success against its strategic goals. Its main purpose is to
create strategies that are targeted towards the improvement of certain performance area. It
helps in creating plans that can be utilised by all departments and personnel towards assisting
an organisation/firm to meet its organisational needs.
Following are the KPIs for a Marketing Manager: -
1. Increasing the sales revenue of the company from 45% to 75%.
2. Increase the customer spends per visit from 20$/visit to $35/visit and increase the
average lifetime from 10 years to 15 years, hence increasing the Customer lifetime
value from (20*12*10= $2400) to (35*12*15= $6300)
3. To increase the Customer engagement from 10,000 customer base to 20,000
customers and hence increasing the customer engagement rate.
4. To increase the visitors per month from 20,000 visitors to 30,000 visitors and
purchase order from 2000/month to 4500/month. Hence, the conversion rate will
increase from 10% to 15%
5. Decrease the customer attrition rate from 10% to 5%.
