Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How do I gain more CP?

A. Almost anything you do in the game will grant you more Combat Power. The best things will
be Set Effects, Monster Research, and Ability.

Q. What does “Main Ability” mean?

A. Anything that says “x?.?? Main Ability” or “???% Main Ability” is referencing all of your basic
Growth Stats excluding the three Critical Stats.

Q. Should I buy Skills in the Random Shop?

A. No. It is really not worth it. Even L Skills for 25,000 Gems is not worth it. You will gain more of
a benefit summoning 25,000 worth of superpowers.

Q. What should I purchase in the Mileage Shop?

A. Keys, Keys, Keys. If you’re new and lacking skills it could be justified buying the Hero Skills.
Especially the Basic Skill “Ice Bullet” as it is easily the best Basic Skill early game.

Q. Should I lock my Ability rolls?

A. Yes & No. If you get a really good first stat then you should lock it. If you get perfect or near
perfect secondary stats then you might want to lock them. Otherwise keep rolling until you
upgrade to Legendary as the more skills you lock the more expensive it gets to roll.

Q. What is Crit Reg?

A. Critical Resistance. Chance to dodge Critical Strikes and Critical Damage Multiplier are
reduced.

Q. Which stats should I prioritize in Growth?

A. The stats that will give you the most CP are Attack, EP, HP, Crit Chance, Crit Effect, and Crit
Reg. It is suggested to level everything evenly besides Attack. Try to keep that 1,000-2,000
ahead of everything else.

Q. What is the difference between farming Online & Offline?

A. You will get offline 25% of the rewards you would have gained while online.

Gem Income

In Psychic Idle there are many ways to achieve Gems, which you can use in various ways inside
the game. The best way to achieve gems will be to farm online 24/7. When you are offline you
lose a considerable amount of materials, gold, and most importantly monster kills.
Monster Kills count towards a repeatable Normal Quest which rewards you with 10 Gems every
time you kill 1,000 Monsters. This may not sound like a lot but when you are farming a stage
online all the time this will rack up very quickly and will be one of your biggest sources of Gems.

Probably the second best way to obtain Gems will be from the game itself. From events,
maintenance compensation, and hot time events the developers and/or Mobirix are very
generous in their games and increasingly so as time goes on and free Gems are abundant..

You also gain a lot of Gems from killing monsters, but this is more tied to what stage and
chapter you are farming. The higher stage the higher amount you will receive in any given time.
You will obtain raw Gems as well as the boxes which can grant you a high amount of Gems as
well.
From the sources above and all the other many sources of Gems found in Psychic Idle I
personally have found myself to achieve roughly 10,000 Gems every day give or take just by
being idle. That number would be lower of course if you are unable to farm online 24/7 and what
exactly you are farming. If you would like to know ways you can farm all day everyday I will talk
about it in the next section.

Farming

There are multiple ways to farm, places to farm, and monsters to farm in Psychic Idle. Each
chapter will have its own monsters, which drop different materials and equipment tiers. You will
often find yourself wondering what you will need to farm at any given moment. You might be
wanting to farm a certain Nano Particle, but then you realize that you are close to achieving the
next level in your In-Depth Research. Gold Gain also plays an important role in farming due to
scaling and how you will always be needing more and more gold, but if you have to backtrack to
a lower stage you will gain almost zero Gold compared to the current upgrade cost.

Farming while leaving your game online is and always will be the most effective way to farm in
Psychic Idle. It is highly recommended to use an emulator such as BlueStacks or LDPLayer.
Even if you are an iOS Player you can still use an emulator and login with your Apple ID to
continue your game progress.

BlueStacks
LDPlayer

For knowing where you farm you have to look at what you need most. I would recommend
farming the highest chapter you can at first to focus on your Growth as once you backtrack for
certain Nano Particles or Monster Research you will gain little to no gold compared to your
current highest chapter. Once you start to slow down your Growth leveling, but still are not
strong enough to proceed to the next stages or chapters then it is recommended to then
backtrack and work on In-Depth Research and Nano Particles that you might only be able to
farm in the lower chapters such as Black and White.

Farming Nano Particles is best done on the even numbered stages with a single enemy in them.
These are harder than the odd number stages and have a higher drop rate than them as well.
Also by farming stages with a single monster you will be able to hyper focus a single material
rather than have your loot split between two different types of Nano Particles.
Monster Research is pretty straight forward and although it might not seem worth doing or
spending the time on lower stages it is one of the best sources of CP in the game and is worth
getting out the way sooner rather than later. Material Drop Rate % heavily effects the amount of
materials you get for Monster Research so it is recommended to get as much of it as you can as
well as a near perfect ability roll for your Farming Ability Set. The longer you wait to backtrack
and complete your In-Depth Research the more you will suffer later game as you will lose more
and more possible gold income as well as other things such as your gem income which
increases the higher stage and chapter you are on.

Bosses will give a larger amount of materials per kill compared to regular monsters, and it is
best to use Semi-Auto Mode while farming and stay in a single spot next to the boss for the
fastest kill times. Bosses will always spawn in the same location.

Pushing

Pushing is when you are trying to reach the highest stage possible even though the stage you
reach will not be efficient to farm in. You might be either trying to reach a higher position in the
Rankings or you are trying to unlock a new game mechanic such as Ability or Superpowers.
There are a few ways we can push in an effective manner, but it is important to remember that
stages have a Required CP amount before you are allowed to even enter the stage as well as
an Ideal CP amount, which determines the amount recommended to efficiently farm the stage
without issues. You can almost ignore that recommendation.
The best way to reach your Required CP will be through two different ways; your Ability Set and
your Superpower Set. The Ability Set is pretty straight forward as you will be aiming for 4.0x+
Attack and near perfect stat rolls such as; EP, EP Recovery, HP, HP Recovery, and Defense. The
first stat should always be Attack as that is the only way to get 4.0x+ rolls and it is an absolute
ridiculous amount of CP gains.
It is also good to know that when trying to push to your highest stage possible it is okay to die
while doing so. When you die on a stage in Psychic Idle the stage progression for amount of
kills needed does not reset after death. Theoretically you could get a single kill and die and
repeat until you have clear the entire stage and can move onto the next one.

Another thing you can do to reach your highest CP possible for pushing stages is setting up a
Fake CP superpower set. This can be achieved by checking your CP every time you change in
and out a skill. There are a couple known variables such as the tier and the level of the skill, so
copying someone else's setup might not always be what is best for you.

As you can see with the screenshot below with this setup my CP has jumped up to 22.37f,
which is a lot higher than my Real CP that I have with my normal superpower set.
You can also switch your superpower set to a better one once you are in the stage even if the
other set has less than the Required CP to enter the stage. You only have to have the Fake CP
set to enter it.

Growth

The Growth menu is a very important place in Psychic Idle. It is home to a lot of ways to gain more
CP as well as where you will be able to upgrade all of your basic stats or as the game calls it, “Main
Ability.” The basic Growth stats are very important as all of your % and X multipliers will scale off
these stats. Therefore, the more you have the more those things will give you in return.
There are many ways you can go about upgrading all of these stats. What I do is upgrade them
evenly besides the Critical Stats, which cost a lot more than the other ones. For those what I do is
upgrade those once I am able to +10 them. Others like to overlevel their Attack more than the other
stats, which could be a good thing to do as well.

You will need to upgrade all of these stats via Gold, which is where Drones come into play. The
higher level and tier drones you have the more Gold you will gain per each monster killed. There
currently is nowhere else in the game at the time of writing this where Gold is needed, so feel free to
spend them as soon as you can. It is also important to know that drone effects stack even if you do
not have them equipped.
