The Philippine National Public Key Infrastructure (PNPKI) is a service provided by the Philippine government to issue digital certificates through a public key infrastructure. Certificates, which are issued by a certificate authority, contain an individual's public key and information to verify their identity and are used to encrypt documents and validate digital signatures. To obtain a certificate, one must submit an application with required documents and identification will be verified via video call due to COVID-19 precautions.
