    NASA made a terrifying new discovery under the North pole.

    Something on earth was slowing


    down the spacecraft and to explore the unexplained, NASA launched a mission. And what they
    found was disturbing!

    There is a breach in the wall of earth's magnetic field that allows charged Particles from the sun
    to enter our world.

    Our cosmos is Mysterious, but human curiosity unfolds every mystery one after the another. We
    observe various strange phenomenons and we try to explain them. Similarly a new strange
    phenomenon was observed by NASA, which slowed down the space crafts of many space
    missions.

    What is slowing down the spacecraft? What is the strange thing being encountered?

    At noon, a funnel-shaped breach in the earth's magnetic field passes overhead at the north pole
    and it lets the charged particles from the sun enter the earth. This breach is called the polar
    cusp.

    Earth's magnetic field protects us from solar winds, but the polar cusp can allow these solar
    winds to enter our planet and impair GPS and radio connection which in result affect the
    communication with the spacecraft. Solar winds are charged particles spewing out from the sun.
    However, along with disruption in communication, polar cusp also slows down the spacecraft
    that passes through it for no significant reason.

    The reason that is slowing down the spacecraft is: denser air

    As one rises in the altitude of the atmosphere, the density of the air decreases. However it
    remains same horizontally, that means density of air remains same throughout the world at a
    given altitude. However, 250 miles above the planet at the cusp, the density of air is 1.5 times
    higher than the density of the air above the rest of the planet and therefore the space rockets
    feel more pressure and drag over them. However, nobody knows what is causing the air to be
    denser?

    To study the reason, NASA launched a mission called crex ii(2). The objective of the mission is
    to discover the invisible thing causing the extra mass in the air, increasing the density. However
    there was a challenge. The cusp is visible only in the noon and the sky has to be dark to see
    vapour traces. This unlikely scenario is a must and that is the reason the mission was launched
    in winter, when it is dark at the North Pole, even at noon. Therefore the mission was launched
    on December 1st of 2021 the andoya space center in norway.

    As the mission reaches the cusp, it will release 20 canisters that will burst out at a given altitude
    releasing vapour traces that will glow when exposed to oxygen. These vapour traces will glow
    and reveal how winds move in this area and Possibly reveal the reason for the denser air.
    The flight was successful and vapour traces worked as expected. However, analysing the data
    from these vapour traces is a very difficult task. The crew has to examine traces from a lot of
    different angles. The crex is the last of the 9 launches in grand challenge cusp. Grand
    Challenge cusp was a research conducted by many countries together in hopes of unfolding the
    truth behind the cusp.

    We are yet to find anything. And though a few images of the cusp have been released, we
    haven't really understood it completely. Until we discover, watch this video.. It will blow your
