Video Campaign contest is a great way to promote the school, brand engagement or find new
students who need your services. You just need to create something truly excellent, perfectly tailored to
your audience, to stand out. It might take some forethought, but a powerful video advert (or a whole
series of them) is one of the most effective ways of getting through to a very specific segment of people
where they already spend their time online. No matter where your leads might be in the marketing funnel,
it's a surefire method of communicating your message and keeping them engaged. And the High school
department had this activity as part of their English month wherein the students were asked to work as a
team per level to create a video that will promote St. John the Baptist Parochial School that is related to
the theme “Creating a Dialogue with God” by following the given guidelines made by the HS moderator.
And these guidelines are the following:
3.1 The participants which is PER GRADE LEVEL should create an ORIGINAL promotional video
of Saint John the Baptist Parochial School in line with the given theme: Environmental Integrity: Dear
Future Generation: What Have I Done to Your World?”
3.2 The participants shall submit the video on or before November 22, 2021 (11:59 PM).
3.3 The said contest is considered as their soft skill activity for the month.
3.4 All entries must either be submitted in English or, if in another language, include English
subtitles.
3.5 The participants will be given time during their asynchrounous time to edit the video.
3.6 The length of the video should not exceed 120 seconds (two minute), not including the 5 second
title screen (see #3.6) and should not be shorter than 60 seconds (one minute)
3.7 All entries should begin with a 5 second full-screen “title screen” that includes the following
information:
-School name
-School City
-Title of Video
3.8 All information presented in the video must be cited, giving credit to the original source.
Plagiarism of any kind will result in disqualification. You DO NOT need to include your citations in your
video. IF CHOSEN AS WINNER, you must submit a list of your sources, properly cited.
3.9 Each video must have one Lead Producer to serve as the main point of contact.
3.10 The participants will submit their edited videos in the google drive link given by the HS English
moderator. The file name should be: Grade Level_PVC
3.11 In the awarding of winners, the judges will be choosing three (3) winners from all deparment.
The winners will be awarded with certificates and medal.
3.12 The Video Campaign of the CHAMPION will be used by the school in their social media pages
as part of their promotions.
The students were asked to submit their video campaign entries on or before November 22, 2021. The
students were given time to do their promotional video every English class by their respective English
subject teachers both synchronous and asynchronous. They utilized their time well so all groups were able
to submit on November 22, 2021. All entries showed excellence and really is a way of promoting the
school. The video editing made by the students were superb. The videos were judged by Mr. Rodlin
Francisco, Mr. Renz Ernest Mantaring, and Ms. Christine Nicanor. The winners of the said contest are the
following: The 3rd placer is Grade 11 then 2nd placer is Grade 12 and the 1st place went to Grade 9.
