Microscope. To refresh your learning answer Activity 1.

Activity 1: Complete Me! The Microscope Crossword Puzzle

Directions: Fill in the crossword puzzle with the parts and functions of a
compound microscope from the word bank found on the next
page. Match the number of the clues placed across or down the
grid. If filled correctly, the words will fit neatly into the puzzle.
Write your answer in your Science activity notebook.

What I Can Do

Activity: The Levels of Biological Organization

in Foldable Pyramid

Directions: Make a Foldable Pyramid on the Levels of Biological

Organization as shown in Figure 3. You will be guided with the
procedure below.

Steps in Making a Foldable Pyramid

1. Create your own template, as shown in Figure 4 on the next page, and
cut along the broken line.
2. Tape the pyramid together by following the diagonal lines drawn on the
template you created.
3. Starting from the peak of the pyramid (SIDE 1), paste the levels of
biological organization following its correct order using the cutouts.
4. On SIDE 2 (left) of the pyramid, paste the description for the
corresponding level using the cutouts.
5. On SIDE 3 (right), paste examples of each of the levels using the
cutputs.
Note: For steps number 4 and 5, please see page 14 for the description and examples.

Figure 4. Foldable Pyramid (Output)

Note: Your foldable pyramid on the levels of biological organization should
look like Figure 4. Be creative and have fun!
