CATEGORY NO: 484/2022

Applications are invited online only through One Time Registration from qualified candidates for
appointment in the undermentioned post in Kerala Government Service. Before applying for the post the
candidates should register as per One Time Registration through the official website of Kerala Public
Service Commission. Candidates who have already registered can apply through their profile.

The above vacancy is now in existence. The Ranked list published by the Commission in response to this
notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and maximum period of three years,
provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the
minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised
from the said list against the vacancy noted above and against the vacancies that may be reported to the
Commission during the period of currency of the Ranked list.
Note :Three percentage (3%) of the vacancies are reserved for Differently Abled candidates with Locomotor
Disability / Cerebral Palsy and Low Vision (As per G.O.(P)No.61/2012/SWD dated 17.10.2012) and Hearing
Impairment (As per G.O.(P)No.9/2019/SJD dated 04.09.2019).

5 Method of appointment - Direct recruitment

6 Age limit - 20-39: Only candidates born between 02/01/1983 and


01/01/2002 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for the post with
usual age relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other
Backward Communities.(For other conditions of age relaxation please see
Para(2) of Part II General Conditions in the Gazette)

Note: Officers of the Technical Education Department, Public Works Department,


Public Health Engineering Department, Industries Department, Architecture
and Town Planning Department may also apply.They will be allowed age
relaxation to the extent of their service in those departments. (maximum age
limit shall not exceed 50 years as on 01.01.2022.)

7 Qualification - First Class Master's Degree in Commerce from a recognised University


after undergoing a regular course of study.

Note: i) Candidates who have acquired Non-qualifying degrees viz. Ph.D/M.Phil/Post Doctoral Fellowship
will be awarded weightage marks provided that such non-qualifying degrees shall be in the subjects
pertaining to the basic qualification stipulated for the post.Weightage marks for non qualifying degrees for
ranking will be awarded as detailed below.

Non-Qualifying M.Phil - 2 marks


Non-Qualifying Ph.D- 4 marks
Both M.Phil & Ph.D (Non-Qualifying) - 5 marks
Post Doctoral Fellowship - 2 marks

ii) Non-Qualifying degree means the additional qualifications which are earned apart from the
qualifications insisted on as essential qualifications for the post.If Ph.D/M.Phil/Post Doctoral Fellowship is
reckoned as necessary qualification for the post,weightage marks will not be awarded for it.

iii) Weightage marks will be awarded only to those non-qualifying degrees which are claimed in the
application and which are acquired on or before the last date for receipt of application.
iv) Rule 10(a) (ii) of Part II KS &SSR is applicable.

v) In addition to the qualifications mentioned above, qualifications notified as equivalent to the prescribed
qualification by way of executive orders or standing orders of the Government, as well as higher
qualification which presuppose the basic qualification prescribed for the post, shall be acceptable.
Government Orders regarding equivalent qualifications / higher qualifications shall be produced by the
candidate as and when called for by the Commission.

vi) If there is a difference in original Caste/Community claimed in the application and that entered in the
SSLC Book,the candidate shall produce a gazette notification in this regard,along with Non-Creamy Layer
Certificate/Community Certificate at the time of certificate verification.

vii) The Degrees/Diplomas awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an
act passed by Parliament/State Legislative Assembly in accordance with the conditions laid down in G.O
(M.S) No.526/PD dated 17.07.1965 are acceptable for appointment in Government Services.

Probation
Every person appointed to this post shall from the date on which he joins duty, be on probation for a period
of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
8.Mode of submitting Application:-

a) Candidates must register as per ONE TIME REGISTRATION with the official Website of Kerala Public
Service Commission www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered can
apply by logging in to their profile using their User-ID and password. Candidates must click on the 'Apply
Now' button of the respective posts in the Notification Link to apply for a post. The Photograph
uploaded should be one taken after 31.12.2012. Name of the candidate and the date of photograph taken
should be printed legibly at the bottom portion. The photograph once uploaded meeting all requirements
shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading.Candidates creating new profile shall upload
photograph taken within six months. There is no change in other instructions regarding the uploading of
photographs. No application fee is required. Candidates shall take a printout of the application by
clicking the link My Application in their profile. All correspondence with the commision regarding the
application should be accompanied with the printout of the application. Candidates are responsible for the
correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password. Before the final submission of the
application on the profile candidates must ensure correctness of the information on their profile. They must
quote the User-ID for further communication with the Commission. Application once submitted is received
as provisional and the details cannot be deleted or altered after the last date for receipt of applications. The
application will be summarily rejected if noncompliance with the notification is found in due course of
processing. Documents to prove qualification, age, Community etc. have to be produced as and when called
for. The profile correction made by the candidates themselves or in the office of KPSC on request,after the
last date fixed for the receipt of applications will not reflect in the application.Such corrections will come
into effect only on the date on which corrections have been made.

b) If a Written/OMR/Online Test is conducted as part of this selection, candidates shall submit a


confirmation on writing the examination through their one time registration profile. Such candidates alone
can generate and download the admission tickets in the last 15 days till the date of test .The application of the
candidates who do not submit confirmation within the stipulated period will be rejected summarily. The
period regarding the submission of confirmation and availability of admission tickets will be published in
the examination calendar itself. Information in this regard will be given to the candidates in their respective
profiles and mobile phone number registered in it.

c) Candidates who submit applications with bogus claims of qualifications regarding education, experience
etc shall, as per Rule 22 of the KPSC Rules of Procedure, be liable to be disqualified from being
considered for selection to any post to which they apply; or be prohibitted from sending applications to the
Kerala Public Service Commission permanently or for a specific period; or their answerscripts
or products in the examination / practical test be invalidated; or legal proceedings initiated against; or be
removed or dismissed from office, or any other disciplinary action initiated against them if they have already
been appointed; or any one of the above actions or more of them initiated against such candidates.
d) Candidates who have AADHAAR card should add AADHAAR Card as I.D Proof in their profile
