2. Major parts and components construction of engine
It is of gear type (oblique set type) and the case is aluminium alloy
casting, the machine oil pump is fixed on the engine with the two screws and
driven by the skew bevel gear on the camshaft. The rough filtering screen is
the aluminium alloy seat mount the by-pass valve, pressure limit valve and
drain oil thread plug. When draining of oil is required only the drain oil plug
is turned outwards about 15mm, in this way the machine oil in the oil filter
cylinder will return to the oil pan through inside passage. Do not forget to
tighten the drain oil thread plug. Otherwise lubrication oil can not be

When machine oil filter element was blocked, the oil from machine oil
pump flows directly in to main oil pipe and may not go through the machine

7. fuel tank
The fuel supply system of 4J series diesel engine consists of fuel tank,
fuel and water separator, fuel filter, high pressure fuel pump and fuel injection
nozzle

3. Engine start, run and stop
3.1.1 Before the new diesel engine starts first time, check carefully to see

4 Engine operation and maintenance
4.1.1 When you operate the engine, you should make adjustment and

3).Burning-out of glow plug:
When only one line is burned out, it has on effect on the start up of the
engine. Even if one line is burned out, judging from the characteristics of
glow plug, the impressed voltage will change only slightly. Therefore, no
judgment can be made by normal testing while the glow plug is installed. In
order to check for disconnection and burn-outs, the glow plugs will have to be
removed from the connectors and checked one by one for continuity.
