• Under this contract we will maintain the elevator equipments here in described, on the
following terms and conditions :
1. We will use trained men directly employed and supervised by us .They will be
qualified to keep your equipment properly adjusted ,and they will use all
reasonable care to maintain the elevator equipment in proper and safe opening
condition.
2. We will regularly and systematically examine, adjust, lubricate as required, and if
in our judgment conditions warrant ,repair or replace
3. To examine periodically all safety devices and governors and make annual safety
tests.
4. We furnish special lubricant, Compound to lifts rigid specifications.
5. We shall not be required to make other safety tests nor to install new attachments
on the elevators whether or not recommended or directed by insurance
companies or by governmental authorities, nor to make any replacements with
parts of different design .it is agreed that we are not required to make renewals or
repairs necessitated by reason of negligence or misuse of the equipment or by
reason of any other cause beyond our control except ordinary wear and tear.
6. We shall render our service ONCE in a month for each lift.
7. We shall maintain a report and maintenance log card for each lift and make clear
entries of any work done repairs made or replacements effected. This record
shall be available for checking all times, by the society’s owner/lesser
representative/s
8. The machine room should be kept under lock and key only our and society’s /
owner / lesser personal / representatives are to be allowed to enter .
9. We don’t being expected to assume liability for injury or damage to person
property resulting from or caused by the lift installed during its operation
10. We assume no responsibility for the following items of elevator equipment which are not
included in this contract are outside the scope of this agreement .car
enclosure (including removable panels, door panels, hung ceilings, light diffusers, hand rails ,
mirrors , and carpets);hoist way equipment hoist way gates ,doors, frames and sills, battery and
tube light fittings cabin , fan, dry cells, any equipment or accessory not forming part of the initial
supply of light equipment.
11. The items listed below show considerable wear will have to be replaced in near future .To
provide you with the maximum of service from this items, we are accepting them in their present
condition with understanding that the customer agrees to replace them at his cost or the customer
agrees to pay, in addition to the base amount of this contract ,an extra amount at the time the
items listed are first replaced.
All work is to be performed during our regular working hours of our regular working days
unless otherwise specified below.
• This contract includes emergency minor adjustment call back service during
regular working hours and also during any overtime hour
• It is agreed that we do not assume possession or control of any part of the
equipment but such remains yours exclusively as the owner ( or lessee) thereof .
we / shall not be liable for any loss, damage or delay due to any cause beyond
reasonable control including ,but not limited to, acts of government, strikes , lock
outs, fire, explosion , theft, floods ,riots, civil commission, war , malicious mischief
or act of god. Under no circumstances shall be liable for consequential damages
This service shall commence on the day of 01/11/2022 and shall continue for a period of one
year and from year to year thereafter until terminated. Either party may terminate this agreement
either at the end of first Year or at the end of any subsequent year by giving the other Party sixty
(60) days prior written notice.
• The contract price is based upon costs of Labuor and material prevailing in the locality
where the equipment is to be maintained at TANUKU in the event of any alterations to the
costs after this date the contract price will be varied pro – rata by the percentage increase
or decrease which shall be calculated by V S ELEVATORS.
• We reserve the right to suspend call back service and or discontinue any other work
under this contract or any other contract with us until all outstanding payment shall have
been made as agreed and we are assured that subsequent payments will be made as
they fall due .Any payment not made at due date shall bear interest at full legal rate from
such due date.
• This proposal ,when accepted by you below and approved by authorized representative
shall constitute the contract between us and all prior representation or agreements not
incorporated here in are superseded
