Dear valued customer,

With this letter we inform you of the Praxis Automation Technology decision to no longer guarantee the
availability of spare parts for the MEGA-GUARD PRO SERIES product range after December 31, 2022. MEGA-
GUARD PRO SERIES was applied in new installations between 2001 and 2011. After more than 20 years since the
introduction, Praxis Automation Technology has seen a significant decline in demand for spare parts. At the same
time, the availability of electronic components required for manufacturing spare parts for this series is rapidly
decreasing.

Therefore, Praxis decided to issue an obsolescence notification for support of MEGA-GUARD PRO SERIES
components. After 31 December 2022, the availability of replacement parts will gradually reduce. Also, critical
components for operating the systems may no longer be available from this date. Being aware of the difficult
situation an obsolete system may cause, Praxis has developed replacement systems based on the latest MEGA-
GUARD E-SERIES technology. By using the knowledge from an obsolete system, we are able to transfer
parameters and databases directly into a replacement system. The existing cabling might partially be reused. We
offer replacement systems for installation on relatively short notice at reasonable prices.
