RECALC procedure multi -thread

User Guide
This document illustrates how to run RECALC procedure to rebuild the RE.STAT.LINE.CONT based
on the existing CAL/CPL records

It will run only when there are records in the file F.RE.REP.LINE.CALCULATE.

Note: Before running the RE.RECALC.REP.LINES, a check should be made whether there any
records listed by using the following command.

>LIST-ITEM F.RE.REP.LINE.CALCULATE

Steps for running the procedure.

1. Kindly follow the below given RECALC procedure to rebuild the RE.STAT.LINE.CONT work file for
problematic report (like MBGL, MBPL etc) related records.

i)Copy the below attached routine RE.RECALC.UTILITY to a local directory.

ii)Compile the given RE.RECALC.UTILITY routine in the problematic area.

iii)Create a PGM.FILE record with ID as RE.RECALC.UTILITY and TYPE as "M"

iv)Login to the problematic lead Company and run the mainline routine RE.RECALC.UTILITY from
AWAITING APPLICATION prompt.

v)Run the routine once for each problematic report (report name as present in RE.STAT.REPORT.HEAD
application. eg: MBGL) and other local reports (if any)

vi)After the completion of the given online RECALC procedure, follow the below given steps, and then
generate and check the latest reports in the area.
2. Ensure LIST-ITEM F.RE.REP.LINE.CALCULATE has created records (ASSET- <<lead Company Code>>
and PROFIT - <<lead Company. Code>>). Take screenshot for the following command.

3. Create the BATCH record for the lead company XXX/RE.BUILD.SLC.ONLINE

4. Create TSA.SERVICE record for the same


5. Start the service and launch the agents.
6. Once completed, generate the reports again and verify the results
